  1. Thanks for the suggestion because I'm not meeting my requirement. Its so freakin hard
  2. OMG, is anyone having issues with being extremely tired. I'm so worn out all of the time. Had surgery on the 7th and I'm taking my vitamins and B12 but I crash everyday around 2:00pm to the point of needing to get in bed. Any suggestions?!

Yes, I've heard that this is common with post bariatric surgeries.

10 days out is this normal?

I'm 2 weeks out and it's hard to get all of my water in. I actually can have pureed and pieces of meat like turkey or chicken ground...but no beef yet. My blender broke so I ended up eating small pieces and chewing until it was baby food consistency before swallowing. I feel like I'm cheating ...

    Ice cream

Oh I can't wait to have ice cream!
  9. I don't feel so bad then. I'm a week out as well and let me tell you, it's been though. I made chicken tetrazzinni for the family. I took a taste from the tip of a spoon and was in heaven. I've been eating potato soup and mashing the chunks. I was worried if it was considered too thick or not. I am hungry but when I drink my protein shake I'm good. I think I just miss chewing
  10. I meant taking vitamins whole versus crushing them
  11. Start writing down you questions so that when they contact you you won't forget. You can ask about where he wants you regarding your activity level, if you prefer bath over showers, when you are allowed to submerge in a tub or swimming pool, what to take for constipation, when can you advance your diet, is gum chewing allowed, taking vitamins while versus crushing. I hope that helps

    Not a patient

I'm hoping you're not saying that a dietician suggested no regular walking until 2 months when you feel up to it. You have to ambulate, I'm not saying vigorous exercise like Zumba or whatever, but a Walk to the end of your street....something!! If not, you will be at risk for pneumonia and/or blood clots post operatively. Rest within reason

    Miserable

I was sleeved 4/7 and totally get it. I'm trying to figure out how often I should eat and how many oz per sitting. They had me drinking every 15 minutes, surely that can't still be the case. I have my follow up appointment on Monday so making my list of questions now
