Struggling, help wanted please
Not wanting to sound dumb or anything, but have you tried to find some sort of hobby? I model N scale trains and when I am working on them it takes my mind off from wanting to eat. Also, I put all my supplies on the other side of the basement so that I get up and walk to get what I need. Sure it is inconvenient but it forces me to get up and walk. Every step helps.

Feeling Ho Hum about surgery
You know what? I was that way prior to my surgery. hard to go on the reduced calorie diet and then the dreaded "LIQUID" diet. After surgery it will get a little worse but then as you are able to eat more it gets better. You will look back on the experience and thing, "It wasn't really all that bad." Try to keep a positive attitude and just remember that your WLS family is always here to help you. Good luck and I look forward to seeing you on the "Loser's Bench" very soon.

Vitamin choices?
Have you gone through your pre-surgery class with your surgeon yet? When I did mine they gave out a book that told what types of vitamins and supplements that I am required to take. Some, like for gall stones only need to be taken for 3 month, others like multivitamins, calcium citrate and iron need to be taken daily (or multiple times daily) for the rest of your life.

When can I start smoking again?
I am sure nobody will have an official answer for you. It is like asking when can I drink pop (soda) or when can I start eating a whole chocolate cake again. Like you said, you are a grown man. Do what you want to.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your weight loss.

Finding a doc.
All I can say is that you have to take the reviews with a grain of salt. People will give bad reviews for things that are beyond the person being reviewed's control. Such as, the person doesn't think they lost weight fast enough, or the surgeon couldn't do the surgery due to the patient's health or physical issues. Go with who your friend's recommend. That is what I did and I am completely satisfied.

Skin Tags
Has anyone had their skin tags removed after WLS? Just curious if insurance will pay to have them removed or if it is considered cosmetic like extra skin on your arms?

Waiting to see if insurance approves
My BCBS FEP covered the surgery. I think I paid a total of $100 out of pocket.

What happens in psychotherapy visit
Well first they strap you to a table and put electrodes on your body. Then they give you a small 50,000 volt shock. LOL. Just kidding. All they do is ask you questions. It is very easy and simple. Be honest with them and don't give them any additional information unless they ask. Mine took less than 20 minutes and I filled out the questioner while si waiting room.

Hopefully it ends soon. I had an eight week stall. It sucks and is no fun.

Sorry to hear that you are not having an easy time. Luckily I haven't had anything that disagrees with the ole pouch. I haven't been sick in a few weeks (thank goodness). I hope it passes soon for you.

I would call them and ask the questions. I am not sure why they did it backwards.

Hunger and Feeling Full
So the feeling of hunger has come back (I think I am happy about that) however I haven't felt full. To be fair, I only eat how much I think I should eat. I got sick early on in my post op recovery food stages and I am so afraid that I am going to over eat and get sick again.
