  1. I did at first. However there are now rumors going around that I am sick because of the weight loss. You are damned if you do and damned if you don't.
  2. Don't let it bug you. Before you know it they will fit and you will forget about it. Congrats on the 25 pounds.
  3. Is it me or does there seem to be more sleeves on this forum than pouches?
  4. CONGRATULATIONS! We will be seeing you on the loser's bench before long.
  5. You should be able to get it at any drug store, Walmart, Target, Meijers, K-Mart, etc.
  6. My sense of smell seems to be a bit heightened since the RNY surgery.
  7. I ended up in the ER the day after my birthday because I hadn't gone in a week. Long story short, two enemas later I was able to go. Turns out I have an enlarge prostrate and that can cause problems with BMs. Good luck to you.
  8. Did you read this on a web site or was it someone posting it on another forum?

    Too funny @bayougirlmrsc
  10. I only used a pillow when I started coughing. Never used anything like a binder at all.
  11. I don't remember (even though it was only 6 months ago) but I want to say about 2 hours then time in the recovery room.
  12. MMMMMMMMM, tequila.
  13. I don't remember if I posted here or not, but Livonia, MI.
  14. Come on @Alex Brecher all I want in a unicorn and a chocolate cake. LOL
  15. Sending good thoughts your way. Try to keep a positive attitude.
  16. Very nice. We will make room for you on the loser's bench.
  17. I have BCBS FEP and I did gain weight during the 6 month supervised weight loss. However I did that at the VA for over a year before I even though about WLS. I had zero issues with BCBS FEP approving my WLS.
  18. WOW! Sorry to hear that. I know it is pretty bad right now but it does get better.
  19. I used to take omeprazole for heart burn but I no longer have to take it. I never had to crush pills of take capsules apart. Sorry but I can't help. I would recommend asking your primary.
  20. That sucks. Sorry to hear that. I don't have issues like that with my surgeon's off in Michigan. They seem to move slower down there in Texas.
  21. I never had that issue, but for me to sleep during the day means that I am sick. Hopefully it will pass for you soon.

Thank you. My self confidence has gone up since my RNY surgery in October. I probably wouldn't have done that when I was a "bigger" person.

OK, I know that I posted a photo before joking that I was going to buy the flamingo suit and wear it to my daughter's wedding. Well I did buy the suit and I did wear it to a Department of Michigan Veterans of Foreign Wars Testimonial Dinner for the State Commander and President. I became what I hate, the center of attention. As I am running for the position of Department of Michigan Jr. Vice Commander 2017-18 it helped me get noticed (not sure if it was good or bad) and I was definitely the talk of the event. Oh, and I am wearing new white Chuck Taylor's and matching flamingo sox.
