  1. My dr says clear for 2 days full until 7 days adding thicker foods until 8 weeks slowly. I guess my problem is that I got the feeling that he wanted us to add food as we were able to tolerate it. I am not sure if I am having problems tolerating food or still hurt from post-op (gas and bloating). I guess I am not sure what to expect if I have a problem with something.
  2. I had my surgery Wed (Feb. 27). I am on full liquids now. My Dr. maps out getting back to a normal diet over 8 weeks. Does every dr do that? I feel pretty good post op except for big gas bubbles and hunger pains that can feel so intense I feel like someone hit me in the stomach with a bat. I would like to try thicker foods early but I am not sure what will happen. Any insight? Debbie
