Here is a picture of the progress I can see in my face since losing the 60 lbs from my heaviest weight last march. I still got 40/50 lbs to go. But haven't lost in almost 2 months. I could use some help

Is anyone documenting their journey with YouTube videos? If so I’d love to follow you along. I have started and think it’s another great tool. Be able to look back and see yourself along the journey. Also for accountability. My channel name is Fat 2 Fab. List your channel below if you are documenting as well and I will subscribe and follow you.

I was the same as you. I went to the gym and went on the treadmill for the 1st time day 8 after surgery... I've worked out with weights hard since 6 weeks and took in a ton of protein.. my weight loss stalled at 3 months. My body is changing and losing inches and only 40lbs from goal but the scale stopped moving. I'm just letting u know that's what happened to me when I was taking in a ton of Protein. I never had 1 complication. It's been a weird journey.

How many calories and Protein are you guys taking in and successfully losing steady ? I was taking in a ton of protein between 120-150 and around 1200 calories and my Dr said that's too much protein and not enough calories... I lift and workout 5 days a week but have been at a stall for awhile. HW-280 SW-250 CW-220 GW-180.. I use the Myfitnesspal religiously. I just got to find what numbers helps me lose the best. I'm 5 months Post-Op

Yea my hospital didn't release me until I had someone too leave with. But honestly I woulda been fine taking an uber.. just explain to them u don't have anybody in NYC with u. I'm single and I've done everything all by myself. My mom stayed with me my first night home for a couple hours but I was fine and sent her home too sleep in her own bed. I've taken care of myself since being released from the hospital and I've thrived... you'll be fine. Your 7 yr old should help also. I had nobody and I was fine. Good luck, I'm 5 months post oppressively

Can I ask why exercise is such a key measure of accomplishment for you? Did you read a book today? Did you learn something new? Did you make someone smile? Did you do a good deed? Did you help someone? Many ways to be productive and brighten the world around us.

Yea i always have been since high school.. my problem is I'm a (was) a binge eater.. and when I would eat the way I did and take a month off from the gym it quickly ballooned me up. U have to find something physical u enjoy doing if u want too be successful long term. Anything, start with walking and move up to speed walking then jogging... biking... but an elliptical... swimming... u have to find something u enjoy

I can do hard boiled eggs, the occasional over easy egg and soft scrambled eggs, but if I cook the scrambled egg too much the texture is disgusting to me. So I generally avoid scrambled eggs. Also have not had sliced bread in forever. Seems to sit like a brick in my stomach and I usually end up spitting it up. I figured I'd try again a little later on. I'm about 3.5 mos out from surgery at this point.

I've read it takes the body and metabolism 18 months to adjust to the surgery. That's when u want to get down to your goal weight. Then it's all about maintenance. I'm 4 mos post op and I know the feeling of wanting to hit the goal before the body adjusts. So I'm looking at it like I have 14 mos to lose another 50 lbs. Establish good habits and get my gym routine down

Oh, I didn't mean to lose 20-25 by March first, I meant like 2-3-4 pounds.......just getting the scale moving again. I'd like to be 195-198 by St Patty's Day, and I will absolutely allowing myself a drink that night!

Don’t give up. Just make sure you are following your plan. Measure that food and log every bite. My doctor is recommending weight resistance training and increase the intensity level on my exercise. This is so worth it.

My doctor at my 3 month said I was a little ahead of the game plan in the weight loss. I see so many success stories of larger amounts of weight loss I thought I was doing poorly. I guess it’s an individual thing and shouldn’t stress if I am not losing weight as quickly as others. I keep having struggles with myself to be careful to not add bad food choices into my day. It’s a daily conversation with myself. I am happy with my progress and plan to keep going strong!

    YOU LOOK AWESOME!!!
I tend to try to waiver my days which I think is the same thought as the indulgence day (weight watchers boards have a thing called The Wendie Method). Some days more food some days less. And, yes, despite my overall philosophy I track a few days every week just to make sure I am on track and not overeating! I just don’t give in to it being an obsession.
