bwaynejr got a reaction from Mytimenow17 in 2 weeks out - Not feeling restriction
I was the same way, I could eat a lot of pureed slider food. But I bet when you get to actual Protein dense stuff, you'll feel it. I know I sure did

bwaynejr got a reaction from ZinNH in Officially post op now!
Hey everyone, I'm officially post op!!! Surgery went well, they've had a little difficulty trying to get my pain under control, but other than that it's been good. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank all of you for the support over the last 10 months. You rock!

bwaynejr got a reaction from nannare in Journey begins/Thanks
Hey guys,
I'm a very private person and I've never been on social media or anything, so actually posting something here is way outside of my comfort zone. But after spending hours and hours on here reading all of the supportive comments I decided to give it a shot. After attending the initial information session and verifying that my insurance would potentially cover my surgery, I had my surgery consult today and we're moving forward with the gastric sleeve. My surgery is at least six months out. I know there is a ton of work that needs to happen and many hurdles to cross, but at least I'm moving in the right direction. I've struggled with my weight since grade school, and have had some success dieting, but always gain it back (and more). I'm glad my insurance requires six months is dietician visits so I can hopefully build some healthier eating habits prior to the surgery. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you guys for all of the great info I found here. Take care.

bwaynejr reacted to Pandorica217 in What was your "last" meal?
I fully admit I had a 2 week food funeral. Went for Mexican like 4 times, ordered pizza 3 times. Had Italian. Had all my favorite fast food--Sonic, Whataburger, Raising Canes, Jack in the Box. Sushi, cake and McDonalds Breakfast almost every morning
