  1. When my gallbladder when bad it threw a stone and got stuck in my pancreatic duct. It caused my pancreas to back up, started digesting itself and, I had no idea what was happening, my blood sugars were in the 300's and higher. I woke up in ICU. I was unable to see properly for a month. High sugar levels caused the sugar to coat my retinas (or something along those lines, I only play a doctor on TV...lol) and effected my vision. That's the only experience I have with my vision changing dramatically. Have you checked your sugar levels?
