  1. I was a complete Coke Zero addict..I slowly cut down two months before surgery..then worked on no caffeine..I did all my cuts in stages so my body didn't go crazy craving things.. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I had a 3 day liquid pre op diet..so luckily I didn't have 2 weeks of it..but I was put on low carb diet for a month before that. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. Is it possible? If so..I'm hooked..as soon as I'm done with work, then the gym and finally relaxing at home..I'm eating SF popsicles..till bedtime. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. I agree with you, but at 7 weeks post-op, how much working out can you do? I know that everyone's plan is different, but most people (at least from what I have seen) aren't cleared for that kind of activity at 7 weeks.I'm only 9 weeks out from my sleeve surgery..I do everything..15,000 steps a day plus elliptical, weights, yoga, jogging..no problem. Our team cleared me for heavier workouts besides walking 4 weeks out. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. I agree with you..especially if you start adding in healthy fats..that can add up those calories quite easily..the more I work out, the more I eat to give me the energy for high impact. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I just substitute stevia for the honey since I'm on very low carb. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. Good luck! You'll do great! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. Are you constipated at all? I know I fight that all the time that can cause stall or gain issues as well? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. My surgical team said 1 year for me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. Not sure if you are low carbing it or not, but skim milk is a no no that early out with my team. What are your meal plans? Are you exercising? Are you getting all your fluids in? Are you eating on plan? I went to my monthly support group and our NUT said..if you're doing everything right and still stalling or even gaining..cut out all dairy. I've had a stall again so that's what I'm trying. We are having a meeting in a couple of months about intermittent fasting which I am also doing after reading a couple of books about the huge benefits of fasting. 11. Does anyone drink ACV on a daily basis? What are your detox tonics? Mine is ACV, lemon, stevia, cinnamon and cayenne pepper in warm Water. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. You can do this..I worried about the surgery and went back and forth too..it's not an easy decision but it was the right one for me. I'm 2 months out and feel wonderful..I'm exercising my butt off..literally..haha The weight doesn't come off me fast but I was a lower BMI at surgery..but it's going the right direction. I made the right decision and it was solely made for me..to be the best me possible..Good luck on your journey! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. First how much have you lost..in what timeframe..slow is not always a bad thing? How is your exercise? Water intake? I am personally trying intermittent fasting with 16:8..16 hours of fasting and 8 hour window to eat and I'm mixing my calories up too..two non consecutive days with only 500 calories each day..rest of the week normal calorie range to see if it helps me. 14. Sleeved 11/18/2016 as well 5'6 SW 232.6 CW 206.4 Feeling great..walking 15,000 steps a day..on top of that I'm weight training 3 days a week and running on the elliptical 2-3 times a week. Still living my diet plan..but got to add vegetables this week..WHOOOO HOOOO!!! My energy level is optimal. My weight has been very slow coming off but it was slow putting it on originally, I keep telling myself. I am not weighing myself because it's becoming an addiction and if results don't happen I beat myself up..so my stats are 2 weeks old. My first support group is Monday..excited to see folks I went to Bootcamp with. So thankful and happy I did this..just for me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. I walk 15K steps a day..on top of that I weight train 3 days a week and run on the elliptical 2-3 times a week. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. 15,000 a day here..I'm constantly challenging myself..glad my energy has come back so I can get those steps in! Lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. I agree with not drinking right after eating. I accidentally did once and never happened again..I have to push my drink away from where I am or I will grab for a drink by instinct..always just thinking about getting that water in..lol but I have wondered about the rule difference..an hour is hard for me but better if I chew gum or drink 30 minutes afterwards..I stay thirsty..I've even done liquid days just because I dreaded eating and waiting to drink lol thanks for the reply.. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  18. Warm liquid..I was told if nauseous..warm liquids..I drink warm liquids all day long..and it does get easier. ((HUGS)) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. So every book I've read, they say don't drink 30 minutes before eating and 30 minutes after eating..my surgical team told us we can drink right up to the first bite of food but not to drink for an hour after eating..why the difference? Is one method better than the other? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  20. No vomiting here..almost 9 week post op..I'm glad too! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
