The crystal light teas have caffeine in them and my dr said no caffeine so watch what you pick just because it's "sugar free" doesn't mean it doesn't contain other stuff you shouldn't have Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Ehh I had to have a sleep study- and I do not snore and never have. I think they do it to cover their butts - mine was 100% covered by insurance tho so it wasn't a bother and they did it with a company who sent the stuff to my house and I just slept with it on for three nights and sent it back in Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

My dr requires three nights hospital stay and also places a Blake drain during surgery to check for leaks / the hospital I'm using has zero record of leaks - the Blake drain will get taken out a week after surgery Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I am scheduled for December 7th! My last nutrition appointment is October 21st I that should give plenty of time for my insurance to approve it and fix any hiccups if we have any- I do have a mandatory two hour pre surgery appointment scheduled the 15th of November and an EDG November 17th Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

We have prime but I got a referral from my PCM at the naval hospital ( my husbands usmc) so I'm going to a hospital in charleston sc - I did have to pay for my nutrition visit tho Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I think everyone has to pay- unless they are truly blessed with some bomb insurance- My husband is active duty military so we have tricare prime ( no co pays) however tricare doesn't cover nutritional appointments so I've paid 125 twice to see the nutritionist at the dr office and that have so kindly let me see the nutritionist st the military hospital for two appointments - so I'll be out of pocket 250 for what is deemed "the best health insurance around " Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I have been under the impression that because when I stated seeing the dr my bmi was 45 I would qualify and the insurance actually likes to see weight loss and dropping below 40 before the surgery because complications are less likely the lower the bmi - My starting weight was 265 and I'm currently 250- However I have picked to delay my surgery until December so I can have help with my children as my husband is military and deployed currently- I will have all the requirements and supervision met for surgery after my last nutrition appointment the 21st of this month- Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hey! Due to certain circumstances I am able to get my surgery in October but I'm waiting until December 7th so I can have more help around the house with my children etc- Since our surgeries are so close we should keep in context I too am nervous for some reason since it's so far out- I started this journey in July Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
