  1. At 7.5 months post-op, I eat 7-8 times per day, approximately 2 hours apart. I drink 32 oz of Water between Meals 1 and 2 and between Meals 2 and 3, 16 oz of water between Meal 3 and Meal 4, 16 oz of Powerade Zero between Meal 5 and 6, and 16 oz of water after Meal 7. The meals are as follows (I eat the same thing every day):
Meal #1: 1 scrambled egg with 2 oz of chicken
Meal #2: 4 oz of cottage cheese with 1 T sugar-free strawberry preserves
Meal #3: 3 oz chicken breast, 1 string cheese, and 10 ParmCrisps
Meal #4: 3 oz salmon with 1 oz green beans
Meal #5: 3 oz chicken breast with 1 oz green beans
Meal #6: 2 oz hamburger steak (90% lean) with 1 oz green beans
Meal #7: 3 oz chicken breast, 1 string cheese, and 10 ParmCrisps
Meal #8: 4 oz of cottage cheese with 1 T sugar-free strawberry preserves
This gets me to around 1300 calories per day, 20 grams of carbs, and 130-140 grams of Protein. I plan to eat this way long term. I am about 20 pounds from goal, and once I get to maintenance, I might up the calories some and let the carbs go to 30 or so, but that's the only real difference.

THANK YOU. I eat about 8x a day. My dr looked at me like I was nuts. About 1100cal 30g of carbs 120-130g protein. At 800 cal felt hungry all the time and was stalled.

  2. 6 months out. Having similar issues. A1c is now 4.5 I eat about every 3 hours lowest my bs dropped was 22 amazing I was still conscious. I had low bs back in middle and high school before diabetes in my 20s. l always eat something with whole grain or plain oatmeal before I walk extensively, cut grass, yard work, vigorous exercise. Per dr orders. About 1/2 piece toast or 1/4 cup oatmeal. If not I have cold sweats dizzy sugar crash then headaches. Sigh.

  3. Are you getting in enough fluids? I'd recommend speaking with your Dr about this. Elevated creatinine can happen from dehydration, working out too hard, increased Protein intake. I'd also recommend checking in with your NUT in case you may need to make adjustments to your diet.

Dr office nut is who called with lab results. I drink about 100pz of Crystal light or Water daily. Take no meds except Vitamins. Have dizzy spells quite frequently and low bp. Told its not from dehydration but thats about all I know.

  4. Yeah I'm having the same problem currently.

I am 6 months and 1 week post op. I've upped Protein upped cal upped exercise. Decreased cal and carbs. Switched to all natural its just not moving I hover between 199-196 gonna getting plenty of Water. A bit concerned about labs they were all good except creatinine unexplainably high. I have swelling as well and wonder if that could attribute the weight variations. Nsv are continuing clothes loosening especially tops but hands legs and feet swelled.

  5. Amazing I started at 251 in October 198 today thats 6 months so you're doing great. Mine has been totally slow but knew it going in w hormonal issues. I was at a stall from march til now up and down about 5 lbs between 206 to 201. Hit 199 on my birthday the 13th then back up to 204. Til the other day finally down lower than my lowest. Hopefully my cal increase and exercise change is working

  6. My husband, we were dating at the time opposed it, but for fears of surgery. He knew my goals when we met and was supportive. I had an ex in the past who was insecure and on a weight loss journey years ago tried to sabotage everything I did, ridiculed me, tried force feeding me by emotional abuse. It may be a phase he's going through or he may not be willing to except changes. Try to understand his feelings but don't let him pull you down. You look great btw
