  1. This may sound crazy but the only relief I had was when my husband used one of those battery operated back massagers on the spot. I don't know if it disperses it or what but it does relieve the pain for a while. Good luck!
  2. Thanks so much for the encouragement!! You all are great:)
  3. For me, you have to behave differently or vomit! I would do almost anything not to throw up so I don't push the band to it's limit. I have eaten blended carrots and mashed potatoes today. It measured about 4 tablespoons all together. I have been feeling so bad I had to get something solid in and I have to say that I feel 100% better. The nausea is almost gone now and I can actually say that things are looking up for the first time in a week. As bad as I have felt, I would still do it all over again!
  4. Post op blues suck...yesterday (day 6) was the first day that I felt halfway decent. I have been nauseated and dizzy since surgery so I decided to eat a tiny piece of toast with a hint of peanut butter on it and that was like magic! I suddenly felt like me again! For dinner I had some cottage cheese - about 4 spoon fulls- and now feel much better. Try a small amount of something more solid just to give you a jumpstart. I'm glad I did!
  5. Jenna - I was banded on the 12th. Is that close enough?
  6. Hi Wendy - I was banded on the 12th and feel nauseated still. I don't want to eat soup or jello again! Do you have a particular protein drink you like? I can't seem to find one except American Whey chocolate that I can keep down. The thought of anything makes me sick! Any suggestions?
