  1. Yeah, I have 3 flavor of Premier that just got here. Hoping for better luck.
  2. I also tried a turkey/cheese rollup. Blegh. I'm going back to mushies for a few days!
  3. Hmm. It's so interesting - they aren't on mine. The surgeons are so different.
  4. Thanks. 5 apricots is 100cal, I only ate 3. I need extra calories right now, as odd as it sounds - I'm averaging 40p a day Thanks. 5 apricots is 100cal, I only ate 3. I need extra calories right now, as odd as it sounds - I'm averaging 40p a day400
  5. It is early. I had 3 small apricots and it didn't sit well. On to the "try again later" list they go
  6. No liquids are fine. Protein shakes are just gross, and I can only do about 1/day
  7. Hi all, I'm on stage 4 now - slowly making the transition off mushies. So I take several "meals" to work since I never know what my sleeve will like. Tried dried apricots this morning. They went down fine, but now have serious heartburn (I take a PPI and haven't had a problem with heartburn thus far). Anyone know if dried fruit is ok? I'm 4 weeks out.
  8. My surgeon (male) asked me to go off my continuous BCP - his female PA told me I'd be fine so I went with her plan. Saw my obgyn yesterday - she wants to "reset" everything and take me off the pill. But I just don't know how I'd manage working. At 27, my options are limited since I don't want to give up the ability to have kids. So frustrating! Thank God my manager at work also had it for 10+ years and understands.
  9. I'm really not sure how to force more
  10. 4 weeks out as of today. Is anyone else just not hungry? I'm not sure if I shoukd eat regardless - every paper says not to, common sense says not to. But 400 cal a day for a month can't be good?
  11. I had chik fil a nuggets before preop started. I love those things. Am yet to try chicken post op.
  12. I told work as soon as I got a date. If you're doing short term disability, they'll make you jump through hoops sometines to get it.
  13. The OP is the only one releasing bile in these waters. @@tess170 wrote @@LipstickLady, @@Babbs you guys are simply too stupid for me to even say anything else to! Keep posting rude comments get your weight down instead of trying to say hurtful things. No one is trying to or saying rude or hurtful things. People are merely jesting at your expense. Furthermore, I demand to be included in the stupid group. Have at me, Sunshine. This thread is giving me life Sent from my SM-T550 using the BariatricPal App
  14. I have a plethora of sleeping pills, unfortunately. I've slept less since surgery, not better. I'm only 1 month out so it could improve. But I haven't noticed a difference, if anything it got worse.
  15. I did optifast and they had a creamy chicken soup mix. It helped break up the sweet
  16. I also have a 24oz with times on it. Plus whatever else I drink (a shake and usually a vitamin water 0) I hit over 64oz
  17. Yup.....started hitting the ECU Halloween block parties when I was a senior in high school and into my mid-20's. Great fun was had. They really did it up right back in those days. Not sure how it is now. My usual go-to costume was something stupidly easy.....some eye-black on one eye and spray paint a large "P" on a t-shirt. A black eyed pea was had. Stupid, I know. But quick and easy. Damnrite !!!! I'm in the MBA program there. I do think, sadly times have changed. But if you're from NC you definitely know ECU is a big party school. The biggest actually lol. Glad y'all could enjoy - it'll still be underwater this year
  18. That's me!! TJs for the win.
  19. You can share my tacoThanks...I love tacos, and since I'm allergic to fish and seafood, this is the best looking fish taco I've ever seen. Haha Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using the BariatricPal App Love it haha. I had to give up shellfish when I had my gallbladder out so I feel your pain. Now if only we could find some healthy goldfish Why did you have to give up fish? Ive had mine out for 10+ years and never had any problems. Is it a side effect? HW 385 SW 359 Sleeved 10/5/16 I don't think it's common. I had no gall stones, but it was releasing bile at 7% of a normal gallbladder. Shellfish always caused attacks and made me sick after.
  20. just had me some lemon cake flavor for the first time Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I'm very interested in this ice cream. Need to do further investigation as it sounds to good to be true.
  21. @@Babbs and @@Lipstick lady are at goal and have been maintaining for quite a while. They are veterans that have a lot to offer and so much wisdom. Just open your mind and absorb some of the great stuff on this board. Negatively will not help you with WLS or life in general.Agree 110% - they've helped me a ton in such a short time! I need someone to kick my @$$ if/when needed!
