  1. I'm working through my sample pack of Quest bars. No matter how hard I try and what brands, shakes are instant nausea. My first bar is triple chocolate and I'm not enjoying it. Hoping to find some I do enjoy!
  2. Girl, you're doing fantastic!!! It takes me right up until bed time and I only hit water goals. Awesome - definitely an inspiration!
  3. Wigs are a great option too. I imagine it was easier to get ready in the morning. Whatever makes you feel good ????
  4. I'm not sure with surgery - I think it REALLY varies based on the woman. I haven't seen cup size change gaininh weight or losing weight. Band size changes for me. Breast cancer runs rampant in my family, I'm debating getting mine chopped and replaced anyway.
  5. I just saw a tasty one pan chicken recipe (I'm lazy, easy healthy recipes are GOLD) - asparagus on one side, tomatoes on the other put the chicken breast in the middle and cook it up. Never crossed my mind that asparagus would be a no no?
  6. Sounds like you're doing fantastic!!! Congrats! How do you get your protein in?
  7. Thanks. Seems like there's more than one way to skin a cat, and do it properly!
  8. Like a protein drink though, correct?
  9. So the price of plane fare to Korea and back and $500 a month for several months? Most people do not have that kind of money. I bought a beautiful $200 wig and a $5 visor and I made it though without anyone but my husband and my daughter seeing my scalp.Or hair extensions to bulk up your hair. Still a pretty penny but no 500 a month. I figure that's what I'll go for if needed.
  10. Thanks. Seems like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place - as many of us are. One more step on the journey
  11. Yes, it's shocking how little protein come from meat. I'm trying every protein shake/water on the market. I'll get there!
  12. I've gotta try isopure. Premier isn't good to me - I think I'm the only one.
  13. Hmm. I have anxiety and face/chest flushinh is a big tell for me. It's actually down down since surgery. Probably hormones going bat sh*t.
  14. I get so angry at mothers - maybe that's not fair but come on! Would you hand your child poison? Or only poison in the form of McDs?
  15. I can't get protein in. Or calories, hence the issue. I certainly don't want empty calories just to get the number up to where my surgeon wants. This is after my 1mo postop where they weren't thrilled with my 50g protein and 500cal a day.
  16. So was wondering if anyone "grazed" in the beginning? I can't seem to get over 500 calories - today at lunch I made 2 meatballs - but could only eat half of one. So I nibbled the remaining half for the next 1-2 hours. I know grazing is a big no no because you can eat around your sleeve. Anyone else have this issue? The last thing I want to do is learn bad habits, but I'm struggling.
  17. Lush sells a product called Lemony Flutter. It's a great hand cream
  18. Applesauce, spread the pills out through the day
  19. I had scar tissue - said it might be need for a drain, but woke up having done just fine with no drain
  20. Keyhole is laprascopic
  21. I sleep with one on my tummy, it has auto off so you can't burn yourself. It wasn't expensive or anything. 20 bucks maybe at Target. I need a new one mine is very lovingly over used.
  22. Agreed. I'm looking forward to the mini cupcake I'll have at my birthday next year vs. The cupcake cake I ate a large chunk of this year. Tiny slivers at holidays. Starving ourselves through diets didn't work. This is a lifestyle change - Friday is no longer pizza night, but maybe I share a piece with a friend down the road. (Much further down, I'm 5 weeks out lol) This is like learning to walk all over again and I'm a huge fan of it.
