    Full liquids

I'm almost 7-8 weeks post. Full liquid - I loved Soup - cream of chicken (strained) when cooled a little add some unflavored Protein. Cream of mushroom, beef and mushroom. All these have flavor and will go down nice. You can add protein but only when cooled if not they clump and are nasty. Go very slow as it was hard for me to tell I was full. Sorry I must be different. If you feel like if you burp it would cause Fluid to come back up you need to eat slower (if that makes sense). It gets easier. Message me if you need more help Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. 10oz is not enough - u really need more or you will start to cause kidney damage. Ice chips ok - if you need to get a syringe and squirt Fluid and swallow. (Not trying to be crude not even close) spoon full of something u like anything - u have to force your body to swallow. It takes about 7-10 days before swallowing feels somewhat normal. I didn't get that full feeling easy. U have to have to drink sip - I hate crystal lite - well make plain Water cycles - if you like tea please try the 4c Green Tea - I have several people who tried it and loved it. May have to make super diluted but keep trying things till u find that one. You will drop a ton more weight with fluids. But again it takes time so listen to your body... hope this helps a little (if not I will shut it). Please feel free to PM me with questions - we all need a mentor or go to person Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. Try to get the water in. Sip sip - me I hate water I use 4c Green tea - doc and nut said the minimal 18gm of caffeine isn't bad. Watch your urine and the smell it will tell you if you are ok. Remember to count anything you eat that has liquids. I love the sugar free popsicles. If urine is dark or smells strong then really need to drink. You won't have a BM for awhile so don't stress. Focus and learning how to drink slow and not chug. I haven't vomited at all but did have to spit up a little cuz I drank way to fast. You have to learn feelings all over again. Don't over due it - Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
