    You look fabulous!

What to expect at 3 months?

I had some hunger but I think a lot was just in my my head. I would eat and feel full on a couple bites. Anymore than that and yes, I was nauseous . I am 10months out. I don't get hungry as much as I feel like I should eat. I also feel really icky if I go too long without eating something. It takes a while To figure out your new lifestyle and all the cues that come with eating differently

    100 lbs down!

Congrats! You look amazing! What is your exercise routine like?
  4. One more thing to add to this list. Measure yourself! A friend told me to and I didn't do it. Boy do I wish I had because I am having trouble " seeing" my success. I have lost over 100 pounds, have had clothes beCome baggy and eventually un wearable, ppl tell me everyday how different I look. I've seen the pictures I just wish I knew the inches lost to make me believe it. The mo d is a funny thing. I went three times over the course of ten years before I finally knew I could commit and was ready. It has been the best decision of my life . Surgery was 8/23/16
  5. Hang in there! Enjoy your pregnancy right now and give yourself a break. After you deliver, you can regain your focus on losing weight. This is a daily battle that I , personally have been taking one day at a time. Sure, I have goals but I have less anxiety thinking one day at a time. I would suggest talking with someone about the root of your eating. There is so much baggage in all of us compelling us to eat more than we should. You aren't alone. Keep your chin up!

    Telling the children

I understand. My kids are grown , well 21 and 25, my son is getting married. I want to be able to run and play with my grandchildren that I hopefully will be blessed with. Go outside. Hike, kayak, kick balls. You will do all that with your kids! Keep stepping forward!

    Depression and withdraw.

This is normal. Find distractions to thinking about food .. read, take a walk, call a friend. This will pass . You will start losing and start feeling energized

A week and 1/2 post op

It gets much better. To the point that you need reminders to eat sometimes. It truly is all in our heads.
  9. First off, congratulations on your three blessings and I'm sorry for the loss of your firstborn. Secondly, this is NOT a failure, it's a bump on the road that you are meeting head on and taking care of. I wish, so many years ago , that I had faced my weight issue before it became the huge problem it ended up being . You are doing that! You see the problem and are addressing it now before it becomes worse! That is awesome! Take this day by day and you will succeed. I tell myself all the time, we are all human and make mistakes along the way, but that doesn't mean we fail. It means we get up the next day and strive for better! You got this!

I'm not sure how my reply went clear to the bottom. I need to explore this site more and figure it out! Like I said down there. I am so excited to nearly be at 100 ! I have a long way to go after that but I'm gonna get there and reading about others success. Drives me on
