    3 month exercises

It helped me with the movement of my body, and the flexibility. I started out at 280 on 8/17/16 and I am now 221. I will say that it does tone up your muscles, and your muscles burn the fat... But muscles weigh more than fat. some days I get sad because the weight doesn't feel like it's coming off but I am losing more inches and I guess the weight will follow suit at some point. And I am sure everyone knows as the day goes on, when you eat you gain weight just until it comes out again. Lol I am excited and hope this continues! Good luck! 7. So today my current weight is... 227.6. I had surgery on 8/17/16 and my SW was 280. I am going to start this 12 week challenge with making sure I drink more Water, get my Protein in and go to the gym at least 3 times a week. I usually get my protein in, but have a hard time with my water. I would like to lose 27 lbs, to get below 200. Here is to the new year! Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App
  8. I have been stalled for about a month as well.... Hope participating in this will get things going again. Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App

    2months out

I had a hard time telling at first, until I had to do this collage... I had surgery in August 2016, and was very discouraged because I didn't feel like I was losing enough or what I was supposed to be. But just keep going, it does happen and you do but we are extremely hard on ourselves, our own worst critics... Hope this helps. Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App
  10. This is informative, thanks guys. I am 4-5 months out and I haven't seemed to lose a pound in over a month. It is very frustrating! I got my Protein goals, but sometimes fall a little short on Water. But I am not sure if it is just slow coming off or I am doing something wrong. Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App
  11. I'm in.... I haven't seemed to loose one damn pound in almost 2 months... Need to kick start something! Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App

    3 months out next week

So, we had our surgery dates about the same time... I have not lost as near as much as you... what are you doing? Working out how often? Right now i am in I guess what they call a stall... and I am getting very discouraged. Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App
  13. So I am about three months post op, and I have been losing weight up until now. I am at a stall I think, and even put on a fee pounds. My diet has not changed and I am getting all of my Protein and Water in. The only difference is that I had my first menstrual cycle in 7 years this past week. Not sure if anyone else has gone through this. Some advice would be good. Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App

    Stall?

I have heard that there is a 3 week stall as well as a 3 month stall. Has anyone experienced the 3 month stall? Cause that is where I am right now. Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App
  16. Just wondering what everyone is eating for fruit after their bypass. I am about 3 months out and I eat about 3-5 strawberries a day sometimes or a apple with about 1 teaspoon of Peanut Butter. Is anyone eating anything like this? It doesn't hurt my stomach or anything. Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App
  17. Hey guys, just wondering how any of you are eating these two items. It has so many carbs in just 1/2 just wondering what everyone is doing. Let me know. Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App

How are y'all doing August sleevers!?

I have also lost 25 lbs, and now I am in a stall - my first one at 6 weeks. From what I've read on here, they can take anywhere from 3 weeks to a couple of months. Like you, I'm still struggling to hit my water (and protein) goals. I'm going to focus on that, as well as increasing exercise, and hope I can break the stall that way. Also, I just noticed you said you are working out 4-5 times a day. That seems like a lot, so if you are not hitting (or exceeding) your water goals, that may be part of the problem. I'd focus on that. I hope it helps! Aren't we supposed to be walking 30 mins a day? At least that is what my Dr. Told me.... that's why i go to the gym so much! I work next to it and we get a membership for free, so I go right after work. Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App

How are y'all doing August sleevers!?

I had mine on August 17, I have hit a stall as well... but I am still keeping to the plan. I work out 4-5 times a day. My meal plans go like this: Breakfast: Protein shake, or egg, or grits.. I trade off each day Lunch: some sort of protein meat, egg salad with lettuce boat, yogurt, some combination of those Snack: some sort of nuts, or Kroger Carbsmart Protein Drink Dinner: protein meat or a salad...I noticed I don't each much of a lot of salad. I work hard to keep my Water at 64 oz. But I do fall short. How long are the stalls for? Cause I have lost about 25-30 lbs... buy it seems to be at a huge standstill.... what about you guys? 21. So, I had my bypass August 17, I have lost a good 30 lbs... but I get a tad bit discouraged or disappointed when now the scale doesn't move and hasn't moved in about 2 weeks. I am eating right and I go to the gym 5-6 days a week. My gym training varies with either just cardio, cardio and strength or I take classes. I can see a difference in all my clothes so that is the one thing that keeps me motivated, but this is not a bad thing right? This is normal correct? Just making sure I am not crazy! Lol Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App
  22. I see were you said your weight was coming off slow, did you do anything different to get it going faster? Or you kept with the program and it finally came off? I go to the gym 4-5 times a week. I had the bypass 8/17/2017, starting out at 278 and only 248 now... it's been a very slow process. But I have followed the program to a T.
