My name is Terry I had gastric bypass in 2010. I was not happy in my life. I tried everything to lose weight. I started gaining weight in high school, and it was very hard. My highest weight at 280, I decided to do something about it. I reached out to Lana Nelson in Moore Ok, best choice I ever made.
I am now at 120 lbs.
I do have some problems. I can't eat very much. After all these years I would think my stomach has stretched out. Its very hard to get my protein in. It gets very emotional for me.
I live in Oklahoma 53 yrs old. I am a mother have two daughters they are both grown. I have 3 granddaughters, and another unknown on the way. I have a lot of health problems, so I am not really healthy. I am here to meet friends and help others. It was a challenge to reach a goal weight just never give up. When my surgeon asked me my goal weight I told her 120 pounds. She tells me that will probably not happen maybe 150, and I was happy with that number. I felt at that time, to lose weight was good enough for me.Going below 150 I don't feel well. When I went for my checkup last year at my weight my doctor was not happy. Its really hard for me to gain weight I am trying. I am happy to lose the weight its emotionally challenging for me. To sit down with my family, and they watch how much I eat. When you want to eat a little more, and you can't. My family is always watching me and asking if I am eating enough. To try to get enough protein is hard. I need to get 80-85 grams of protein is not easy. I have started the protein shakes once again, that's a little better. I just have to keep going and not give up.
