  2. i'm from mississippi also. i have my first dr appointment in 3 days, mar 6. i have read a lot of negative comments on this board and i am starting to reconsider what i should do. it doesn't help that i am phobic about being cut. :thumbup:

  4. hi. glad i found this forum. i went to a seminar recently and decided to do the lap band. my first appointment is mar 6. lucky for me my insurance covers all but about $700. otherwise this would be impossible for me. my top weight was 383.... now i am at 367. have been as low as 313 since i got fat. i was athletic shaped until about age 33 and then i started gaining weight. my normal weight is around 215. hope to make a friend or two here.
