For myself it was barely being able to wash my feet and lower legs in the shower. It mashed all of the air out of my lungs bending over like that.

I have been doing a lot of searching on the net and have about decided that a hybrid bike interest me the most. There is nothing available locally around where I live but there is a bike shop about 50 miles away that can help me out. So choices of used bikes are slim to zero. I'll know more tuesday or wednesday. thanks to all of your comments.

Anyone know of a good beginners bike forum? Im going to the local shop tuesday to get some info.

A friend of mine knows a guy who went in for rny surgery and he never woke up. Dead at 52 years of age. So it can happen.

i'm from mississippi also. i have my first dr appointment in 3 days, mar 6. i have read a lot of negative comments on this board and i am starting to reconsider what i should do. it doesn't help that i am phobic about being cut. :thumbup:
