  1. Once you start having food with more density you'll notice the restriction. Congrats!!
  2. Great work, congrats!!!!
  3. Thank you for the kind words! I went to my first support group yesterday. I think it was pretty good. I plan on continuing to go. Hopefully it will help me keep my head in the game. Maybe my experiences can help others who are just beginning their journey. Been hovering around the same weight for a while now. This morning I weighed in two pounds lighter. Guess the scale isn't done yet
  4. I find myself surrounded by very supportive friends and family. I told absolutely everyone who would listen. It's a personal decision, only you know what kind of support you have from those closest to you. I encourage you to openly talk to those you love. Their concerns will be out of love for you.
  5. Waited about six days. Once I was off my pain meds i couldn't get out of the house fast enough!
  6. So exciting!!! It okay to be nervous, that means you understand how big of a commitment this is! You're going to do just fine! It was the best decision I've ever made. Changed my life in many ways!
  7. I started at 370 by three months I was down just over 100lbs. Everyone loses at a different pace. Keep up the good work and listen to your body. Now I'm getting close to my goal weight and things are slowing down on their own.
  8. I have no recollection of mine. In after they knocked me out, and out before I woke up. No sore throat.
  9. It is AWESOME!! I'm really happy with how things are going. I went from a size 48 jeans to a size 34 and a size 4x shirt to an XL.
  10. I really like mine. Don't know about the calories from weight lifting. But i like its method of tracking calories better than steps in a day. You can still get that info if you really want it. But the part I like is having it sync with myfitnesspal and being able to see my macros right from the watch. I also use a program called "round" to notify me of when I need to take my pills and vitamins.
  11. NSVs are the best!!
  12. Congrats, it gets easier as time goes my. Best decision I've ever made?
  13. It's been a while since I've posted. Thought I'd give an update. I've continued to go to the gym and eat within my surgeons plan. I'm down 155lbs now. Meals are getting easier as I learn more about what I can and cannot have.
  14. Try doing the shots in the thighs or lower stomach instead of the testicles. Lol! Sorry, couldn't resist... I had bruising at the injection site but not there thank goodness.
  15. I started at 370 and at three months I was down 105 lbs.
  16. You look great! Good work sticking to it!
  17. Congrats! I use the MIO drops to give the water a touch of flavor.
  18. Definitely call your surgeon.
