  1. I used my charger, chapstick and robe - my unit was an ice box. I didn't use anything else. My hospital provided toothbrush and toothpaste and basic cleansing items.
  2. Congratulations!!!!
  3. I would definitely like to try these please.

    Wow!! Soooo true!!!!
  5. I was sleeved on 12/19/2016
  6. Let's see I waited until I was two months out to have a sip of wine. I figured that wine would be the lesser of the evils. Please jump in with some words of knowledge, but this was my rationale: vodka is potatoes, whiskey is wheat, but wine is grapes. I didn't want too sweet because I was afraid - I'm afraid of everything. LOL So, I had an ounce of Moscato. It was very nice. I had my surgery on 12/19/16. I planned it that way but in hind sight, what was I thinking?! But, I made it. So, I had the ounce on my birthday.
  7. Not weird at all. Just gotta know your own signs.
  8. I hiccup. It's funny, but I'm so serious. When I start to hiccup, I stop eating.
  9. Thanks so much for sharing this. I needed the inspiration and honesty.
  10. I'm watching this closely. I had thyroid surgery years ago and I'm hoping that I still can lose a substantial amount.
  11. I got the card saying I could yesterday.
  12. Sigh. I may not be the best motivator, but don't give up. I'm trying to stay motivated myself. I just keep saying that I didn't alter my body to give up.
  13. I really needed to see this. I am having a blah day today and although I don't want to imagine that anyone else can relate I am actually glad that I am not alone. Wow, I seriously seem to be in this three-week stall. However, I have been trying to stay upbeat because approximately two weeks after my surgery (VSG) I passed a kidney stone (never had one before) and then the other one had to be surgically removed. Sigh. So I've been at 262.4 for right at three weeks now. I went to the gym for the first time today. I'm still a bit achy, but I'm trying to push through everything without getting depressed.
  14. I'm almost two months post op and I'm afraid of new foods, too. But, I'm also excited about new foods because I'm so tired of the old ones. LOL Sometimes it's like I'm afraid of food. I'm going to my support group on Monday and I hope someone brings it up.
  15. Similar situation; I gained like 2 lbs. I am not concerned as I was on liquid plus I figured it might be a little constipation. Sent from cyberdiva's iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  18. Wow! That is seriously around the corner. You said "Nova" in your signature. Is that the name you are going to give your sleeve? I named mine Noel (I was sleeved 12/19) and when she's angry at me she turns into Leon (Noel backwards). LOL
  19. Wow! Congratulations! Keep us in the loop!
  20. Hmm, unfortunately I can relate. I was doing so well until I ran into the kidney stone brick wall. OMG!!! Childbirth has NOTHING repeat NOT ONE THING on a kidney stone. I had barely had any issues with nausea and seriously I was chilling. Then!!!!! Oh, did I fail to mention that I'm still not a month post op. It's difficult to even Celebrate my weight loss and the fact that I've been taken off of one of my bp mess!!!! Say no to kidney stones. Sent from cyberdiva's iPhone using the BariatricPal App
