    Really Regretting it.

I felt the same way for a couple of weeks after the surgery. I was depressed, I constantly cried, and was in pain from severe acid reflux. It's been 6 weeks post-surgery, and I have started feeling like a new person!! I'm down 34 pounds, I have a boost in energy, and although my stomach still feels a little funny, I am happy with my decision. The way you're feeling will pass. You will begin to feel better and once you begin loosing weight/ inches you will have a boost in confidence in your decision. Also, talk to your Dr about your feelings... He may prescribe anti-depressant to help. Best of luck!!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. No. It's not necessary. My parents stayed with me until I was settled in my room, which was about 5 hours. They came back when I was discharged the next day. Just make sure you push yourself to WALK, WALK, WALK...Good Luck!!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
