  7. i had the same reaction with eggs, im 3 weeks post op and still cant do scrambled eggs successfully yet. i get a nasty gurgle/upset stomach and it feels like i need to spew it back up! i do a little better with deviled eggs for some reason, its all trial and error! for me it got easier a week into being back to eating some actual food.   9. it took me about 5 days post op to finally be able to comfortably pass gas. sitting on the toilet and pulling my knees close to my chest as much as i could helped me a lot. good luck, it will get easier! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  13. not sure how your surgeon/nutritionist do their food stages but for me 6 weeks post op i can start eating most veggies! hopefully same for you if so only 2 more weeks. also ive seen people puree their veggies into a Soup and then add chicken or lean turkey!   17. hello! today i start my pureed/soft food stage. on my list of things i can eat it says wheat crackers...does this seem right? im really scared to give those a try. has anyone else had wheat crackers on their stage 2 guidelines? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  19. i am a week post op today, and i wish i could tell you a way to ease your mind but i went in scared to death no matter what i told myself. luckily the surgeons nurse that took me in held my hand so tight and comforted me until i went out. when i woke up it was like nothing happened and laughed at myself for being such a big baby haha! it will be alright i promise you! trust your surgeon and hopefully you get a sweet nurse like i did, she made all the difference. you will do great, relax as much as you can before your date!   23. hello! my surgery was 7/18 and im already down 20 pounds..am i losing too fast? i get in all my Protein, Water and sometimes jello/broth. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  24. i am 6 days post op and have been having a lot of sugar free popsicles, sugar free Jello, and today i made my boyfriend some stew and drained the broth to eat. also gas-x strips have only seemed to help me burp and it does help some. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
