Ok, shopping for hospital and post op....for those of you who found Gas X strips helpful, how many boxes did you go through in hospital and first month post op?

Gas-X wont help you with the gas they pump into your abdomen during surgery. It only works for gas in you digestive system.

I would ask ur surgeon if ur allowed to have them, most hospitals don't allow outside medications. Walking is a huge help when relieving built up pressure... I burped all the way around the hallways... Was kind of funny lol.

i bought one box but wasnt allowed to use them during my stay, no outside meds. all depends on your nurses/drs.

I used one box for hospital/first month. I did find them helpful.

My sister bought me two tiny boxes 3 days after the surgery and I have only used 1/3rd of that box since. It has been 3 months and I have been using them pretty often.

Get one box. It will last you long.

I went to the hospital without it even though it was suggested and I regret it. I felt so bloated those three days.

I can and I will.
