I have been so absent lately. Everything is good on my end and my fiancé did a complete 360. I think he was more so frustrated with me because I never gave him the chance to explain to me how getting the surgery would make him feel. I just told him I'm getting gastric bypass without any thoughts from him. So I can see where his resentments came from. I guess I would be a little upset if the rolls were reversed. Who am I kidding? I would be livid. But he's been the most supportive person in my life right now and I am glad that I made the decision to go through with it with him by my side. I honestly don't think I would've made it without him and my family stepping up to support me. This beginning of my journey would've been a big challenge if I didn't have support.
I just want to say thank you to everyone who gave me awesome advice and encouragement. I truly appreciate it!

@@KristenLe I have about 200 pounds to lose maybe? I showed him the video if the procedure and nothing good came out of that because the only thing he kept talking about was me potentially being out of work, not having some to take care of me (he's a police officer so his job is too demanding to be taking off all the time), having any complications (potentially dying), Me needing to go back and fourth to the hospital(if need be) etc. Thats what I keep telling him and thinking, If he can't support me then we don't need to be together. He gets upset when I say that, but September is slowly approaching and I told him I'm getting the surgery wether he likes it or not. So you can be with me or against me.

I guess my nerves won't kick in until tomorrow. However I am ready and I am so over this liquid diet lol. I am ready for my life to begin. I still haven't packed my overnight bag because I am a procrastinator plus I don't think I will be taking a lot of things. I am just ready for tomorrow to be here lol. Who else is with me?

I'm here at the hospital waiting to get checked in. There was a lot of traffic on the way to the hospital. But I made it. Couldn't really sleep at all. I was having so many reservations, but I am here and moving forward.

On post op day two. Came home from the hospital last night. Today woke up a little more sore but I also haven't taken any of my pain pills. Walking helps with pain.
The weirdest part is being hungry but not really. I guess this is the head hunger everyone talks about. I couldn't imagine eating right now but when my fiancé eats around me I'm definitely eyeing it haha

Well my surgery is tomorrow 9/13/16 and I just ended my preop liquid diet on yesterday 9/11. I have lost about 14lbs during this time. I'm also very glad I'm not the only one that has been feeling weak towards the end of it...I even passed out twice from the Georgia heat at a cemetery during the burial rites..I was so embarrassed but otherwise that's the worst of it. I'm excited for tomorrow but also nervous about the pain but my doc gives a PCA pump so hopefully it won't be to bad.

Am I the only one who isn't feeling too nervous about the surgery? I'm more so anxious than nervous. I cannot wait. I'm ready for Tuesday to be here.

Congratulations! Getting that letter in the mail must be the best feeling in the world. This week has been a really long week. I wish I could rest up this weekend, but unfortunately I work. Luckily this is my last week of work and then I'm on vacation.
