Thank you for your reply! Sounds like we are about the same. Starting weight was 228 and have lost 20. Can't wait to add chicken and more solid Proteins. This purée is yuck.

I lost 17 pounds the first two weeks. I have lost 1 pound in the last 2 weeks. Kinda discouraging

Curious as to what others experienced one month out. I have lost a total of 20 lbs. most was lost in the first two weeks. Only 2-3 lb in the last two. I am wondering if this is typical. I have introduced soft foods fish, cottage cheese, cheese, etc and am eating most all Proteins for each meal. I am unable to eat much so seems like I would be dropping more.

Just curious what others are experiencing. I and 4 wks po and lost 20lb in the first two weeks. The last two I have only lost 2lbs. Is this normal? I am introducing new foods but sticking to Protein, fish, cottage cheese, cheese, Protein drinks and a few veggies.

I took all of the above and did not use anything. I wore the same thing home I wore to surgery. You will sleep/rest most of the time.

Full liquids for two weeks, puréed three weeks, soft foods three weeks. Full liquids included cram Soup, malt o meal and Greek yogurt.

Can someone please tell me how you are getting in your Water? It is so hard for me! I have had 2 IV's in 2 weeks. All Water tastes horrible. I have tries Crystal Light, infusing it, etc. I haven't had a bowel movement in 5 days. Not sure how that could happen if I'm eating a few bites here and there. I had my surgery on June 29th and have lost 40lbs. I am so discouraged by the water and hydration, that I am regretting the surgery. I teach and go back in 3 weeks and don't see how I can do this. I am weak and have no energy. Any suggestions would be sincerely appreciated.

drink all day long. If you are constantly drinking you can get 64oz no problem.

I think the gallbladder is much harder than the sleeve. You have minimal pain with the sleeve.

i am two weeks out and not Allowed mushy foods until 6 weeks. I am not allowed rice at all. Mushy foods would be cottage cheese, Beans, yogurt but at one week that seems way to early.

Can someone please tell me why I am having terrible left side abdominal pain? I am 5 days out of gastric bypass surgery. My surgeon says it is not related to the bypass, but I didn't have this problem until after the surgery. Go figure.

i did not have bypass had sleeve and was sore on left. If I the pain is bad I would call surgeon back that doesn't sound normal.

There are many different types of Protein. Many are not effective and a waste of money. Protein drinks should be made with whey isolate for the body to properly absorb. It is unfortunate so many nut are not letting people know. There are not a ton on the market but you can order on Amazon/. Matrix makes one and Bariatric Advantage..

My dr says liquids till post op visit on Thursday. I think it's a bit conservative. I would die for cottage cheese or Tuna

I bought tons and can't touch it. Yuck. I have been getting panera Soups and straining. Canned is just gross to me. Before I would have been fine with canned.
