I had that same problem for about a week. Now I am using ice for my Protein drinks. Hopefully yours gets better soon!

I am 17 days post op. I ended up in the ER yesterday after suffering for 2 days from severe light headedness upon standing. DEHYDRATION IS SERIOUS! Even though I was getting min 64 oz it is not enough! I ended up getting 96 oz plus the IV fluids & feel better today.
Please please get some fluids!

On my blended phase I was told to soft scramble the egg, then blend it. My mini food processor has sure come in handy!

My dr said the 30 minutes doesn't apply during straight liquid phase. When you start blended food is when you have to wait. And I started it Thursday & am finding it difficult to get enough Water in especially when I take a nap everyday. Just ended up in the ER with dehydration.

I had the same reaction to the Protein Shakes after surgery. I put mine in a blender with a few cubes of ice, it kind of lightened the density of the shake and changed the flavor a little, too. Much more bearable, at any rate!

I am not sure everyone experiences the change in taste buds. I did and I am. I think they go back and if I have to have another shake I might lose my mind... but the motto here is.... what doesn't kill you makes you thinner! I know that might suck right now but things are constantly changing. You might go back to loving them again before you know it

liquid goes right through...once the swelling is gone there is no restriction for liquids....you'll start to feel restriction when you start eating more solid food.< /p>
