    Constipation?

Try some milk of magnesia and docolax stool softeners. I tried them when I was dealing with this too. My doctor told me the combination of both can be slightly harsh on the stomach so if you take one and you're not feeling the need to vomit or feel sick take the other. This may help the situation too. Don't worry. It's very very hard in the beginning however things get easier. I had my sleeve done May 27th, 2016 I can get what I need in and I'm down 100lbs. now. Newbie

The first 3 weeks at home was hard for me. Extremely hard. Try to keep in mind what your surgeon said. It will get better in time for sure. It is tough in the beginning however the first thing you want to do is to keep yourself hydrated. Drinking your Protein and Water is more than enough for now. Trust me. If you can't get to your protein goal each day, be sure to hit your Fluid goals for sure. Oh I forgot to mention, I had the gastric sleeve done May 27th, 2016 I'm down 100lbs even at the moment. Constipation?

I've dealt with the same complication. I struggled with hard stools until about 9 weeks out. I went to the hospital and was given a substance called "GoLightly". Now--when you drink this stuff it forces you to go--however you will have relief.it doesn't taste great, just keep in mind it will work. I know exactly how you feel. Just try to remember it is temporary! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Robotic Surgery ?

This is my first post on here. I hope this helps. I had my procedure done May 27th, 2016 at University of Pennsylvania. My Doctor did an excellent job and the procedure was done using the robotic arms. I am down 52 lbs. with no complications. Hope this helps. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
