  1. Well, I messed up on day 2. DH and I went to town to do some errands and he wanted Chinese. I ate Chinese. Oh well, it could have been worse. I'm back to liquids again and I am going to do the treadmill for longer tonight.
  2. I survived Day 1!!! It wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I went to my mom's and she had cooked. She also had German Chocolate cake. I stuck to the liquids though. Congrats to all of us who survived day 1 and good luck to all those starting!
  3. I am starting liquids today. I have been so depressed that I have gained 11 lbs. I have been walking on the treadmill for 35 minutes everyday since Saturday, but I have been eating wrong. I am really glad to know that I am not alone. I have felt like a failure. Thanks for starting this thread and getting me motivated.
  4. I never did quit. I need to, but I haven't.
  5. I was banded on April 4th. Today is the first day that I have really felt better. The gas pain is the worse. Like every one else, the key is walking, walking, walking. I have the same gurgling sound, but I am not hungry. I can not get all the liquids in. I weighed and was so disappointed. I had gained 2 lbs. I am hoping it is just gas though. I know it can't be what I am eating because the most I have had to eat was a half cup of cream of chicken soup and 2 sf fudgesicles. Glad to hear everyone is getting better and good luck to all of you who are having surgery soon!

  15. Hey THinDolpin, I figured a way to hurry the insurance approval. Call them daily LOL. I was told it would take up to 15 business days. I talked to several who said that was ridiculous. After a week, I called them every day. After about 3 days, I had an approval!!!!
