Hey,I finally lost 50lb,but I'm at a stand still & it's driving me crazy,I know this is something that happens to everyone so I will be patient! How much more have you lost. I live in Texas,but I'm from W.V. we're going home for Thanksgiving, I'd love to have another 20lbs before we head home. What sucks is I gained weight once we moved here,I think I was just so lonely missing my daughter & grandchildren. I had my surgery 7/6,I can eat about everything,well I haven't tried red meat yet! But beside that,my problem is slowing down!!! A couple of times,I ate a little to much,I'm learning trust me. I was so sick at my stomach I actually had to lay down,so about 20 minutes later I was fine. So for anyone that feels full................STOP,DON'T TAKE THAT LAST BITE!!!!!!lol. Do you all know your brain doesn't let you know your full until 20 minutes after your already full???? Weird,huh??? A little trivia there. Have a great day! I had my sleeve 7/6,I'm down 43lbs,I'm still have 65 more I'm wanting to lose. I'm at a stand still to,I'm haven't lost any weight for like 3weeks,but I'm noticing on here,it seems like the norm. So I'm going to hang in there,it will come off!!! Good luck to each & everyone of you! People think you go have surgery & BAM,the weight falls off!!!!Wrong,you have to change your eating habits,the way you eat,how much you eat. The surgery is a tool to helps us get the weight off! I just tell the truth,I was so excited about it! I've lost 43lbs & my surgery was on July 6th,I'm at a stand still ,plus I've eatin' some things I probably shouldn't have! But tomorrow & getting right back on my 3 meals,& my Water. I have 65 more lbs I want you lose. I got lazy,bc I haven't lost any for like 3 weeks!!! My dr. told me the pre -op diet was to help the liver shrink so they can get to your stomach easier. The stomach is behind the liver,the take like a "metal Straw"& lift the liver up. Why I know this may dr. gave me the pictures of my surgery. I couldn't believe how huge my stomach was,he cut alot off!!!! It was interesting to see!!!! It will be the best thing you 3ver done for yourself! I'm 56 also & as I got older the pounds piled on, so July 6th,I had the sleeve surgery, my weight was 300lbs. I was absolutely miserable. I'm down about 50lbs & feel great my P.C. dr. Will be taking me off my bp meds& my diabetes meds on my appt on the 22nd of September. So just do what they tell you & you will do great! !!! Congratulations, but by Thanksgiving,you should be able to eat small pieces of turkey. I had my surgery July 6th& I've been eating chicken,tuna salad,fish,&have lost about 50lbs. I have ate a little of everything, well not everything, but I've been eating chic for a few weeks,I've eaten a tuna salad sandwich,but I do take my time& once I feel full,I stop! But as far as sweating I've had on problem with that.I had my surgery July 6th,I've lost a total of 43lbs.I have even eaten a small piece of pizza.I haven't had any trouble at all,but everyone is different!!! Tomorrow will be a month & I eat slices of cheese,of course I eat small pieces & make sure I chew them up really good. Do you guys think it's too soon for solid food like that? I feel comfortable eating cheese. I even had a tuna salad sandwich one day,it was cut into 4 small pieces& again, I chewed it up very good.It took me a while to eat it,but it was so tasty!!!!! Wow!!!! That is so awesome!!! You look great at 190,job much more are you wanting to lose? I start at 300lbs.had surgery7/6/16,I'm down 28lbs. I'M a large frame girl,& was thinking if I could get 175lbs.I would be happy & everyone says that sounds like alot,but I carry my weight well, I don't think it should be about the numbers ,do you??? Congratulations! That is awesome!!! I had my surgery July 6th,2016.I have lost 19lbs.since I've had the surgery. I have so much more energy, I feel great.I wonder sometime if I'may eating enough? Sometimes I can take a bite of something & feel full. Then other times I feel like I can eat a bear!!!!! Just wondering if this is normal? !
