  1. Sounds delicious! Can't wait to try it. VSG 6/17/2016
  2. Has anyone ever tried this product during maintenance, post op, or pre op? If so, what are your thoughts? VSG 6/17/2016
  3. I was so out of it the day of surgery. I didn't even look at my phone until the next day. Brought my iPad too, and it stayed in the bag lol. I was so tired. My family had to call the nurse phone to get me to answer. I couldn't help it. When they came the day after surgery, I kept sleeping on them. Day 3 I felt so much better but sill exhausted. 4. I'm almost three weeks out and I still lack energy, but it has gotten better. As I'm able to increase my Protein, I know it'll get better. Taking it one day at a time. Got my eyes on the prize. VSG 6/17/2016
  5. @@BigReid21 @@pewpewpewpew @@becomingmandikaye Thank you all for your suggestions VSG 6/17/2016
  6. So I used the fat free Lactaid milk, ice, scoop of Protein powder and a packet of lemon Crystal Lite and blended it. Tastes like a lemon cream Popsicle lol. Trying to get this protein in without being able to eat Gotta get creative. I'll be three weeks post op next Friday and I'll be taking my granddaughter to Disney World for a week. Need to have strength. Any suggestions for those on full liquid to increase protein? VSG 6/17/2016
  7. @@Bufflehead As part of my post op, I did Clear Liquids for two weeks. Now I'm on full liquids for two weeks. I'm not counting calories or Protein. I'm allowed to have this carnation Breakfast, skim, fat free or 1%milk, sugar free/ low fat pudding, strained low fat Soups, no sugar added low fat yogurt, sugar free Popsicles, sugar free Jello. thinned grits, oatmeal and cream of rice and wheat, in addition to the broth and other stuff from the clear liquid diet. I am allowed to add Protein Powder to my milk and I know it's ok to add it to yogurt. I don't necessarily call it a Protein shake tho lol. It's just adding a scoop of protein powder to get in more protein. So I don't feel like I'm not in compliance. Just happened to add it to this carnation meal of that makes sense lol. I sip Water all day and can eat some Soup, sugar free jello and sugar free Popsicles the rest of the day. Trying to get in more protein where I can add it and have it be bearable to eat too. VSG 6/17/2016
  8. So 8 oz of the milk, a packet of the carnation, a scoop of Protein powder, ice then blended in my Ninja. It's delicious! I am now on full liquids. Figured I'd be sipping on this for about an hour lol. Does this seem ok? 270 calories 2.5 g fat 34g protein 29g carbs VSG 6/17/2016
  9. Have you also tried Obesity Help website? VSG 6/17/2016
  10. You should be able to take Gas X. They have strips that melt on your tongue. VSG 6/17/2016

  12. Thank you! @@OutsideMatchInside I just want to do right, while adding variety as well. I definitely don't want to start any bad habits. Sugar is real easy to consume unknowingly if we're not paying attention, that's for sure! I'll check that link out. VSG 6/17/2016
  13. I don't know much about stevia @@OutsideMatchInside I'll look into it. Sounds like Splenda isn't too good for you huh. I miss drinking coffee and this is flavored. Figured it will help lol. VSG 6/17/2016
  14. I'm not struggling with liquids, but I want to try the Gatorade. Thanks for the suggestion. VSG 6/17/2016
  15. I got my Vitamins and Calcium supplements before surgery to make sure they were ok. I was advised to start taking them when I was discharged from the hospital. VSG 6/17/2016
  16. I may be answering my own question, but i just realized that sugar is the second ingredient. Guess I won't be doing anything with this jar for a long time lol VSG 6/17/2016
  17. Any suggestions on what to do with this jar of PB2 two weeks post op, or just wait to introduce it to my new stomach? Lol VSG 6/17/2016
  18. Has anyone tried any sweeteners besides Splenda two weeks post op? I'd like to try this in coffee, but don't know if I should. Haven't asked my NUT yet. VSG 6/17/2016

  20. Good question!!! I'll be taking my granddaughters to Disney 3 weeks after my surgery. I forgot to ask my Dr yesterday at my post op. My tapes are still in place. I'll call him tomorrow. VSG 6/17/2016
  21. Two weeks out and my eyes are on the prize! I'm so over liquids and strained Soups, but my eyes are on the prize. Down 22 lbs so far and that is inspiring to myself. Take it one day at a time. Don't concentrate on what you think you're missing out on, but let what you need to do, to reach your goals, be the focus. Best wishes to each of us! VSG 6/17/2016
  22. Me too! This would've been my response to this post VSG 6/17/2016
  23. Hmm. I'm two weeks out today and I've lost 22 lbs per my surgeon at my post op appt today. That would be discouraging to me also. I wonder if there is anyone else who has experienced what you're going through. Are you on Clear liquids? What are your days like? Have you spoken to your surgeon about your concern? VSG 6/17/2016
  24. Whoa! Congratulations on your lost so far! Totally awesome! VSG 6/17/2016
  25. It does to me, but I have no idea really. I'm just two weeks out today and have graduated to full liquids. I won't be able to eat scrambled eggs until weeks 5-6. meat, unless it's puréed won't be until weeks 7-8. Looking forward to hearing other responses. VSG 6/17/2016
