My surgeon advised it's where he was the longest it's the largest incision.
-
I had that pain and thought I was going to die ! it only happened once I tried to sit or stand up or get ready to lie down, my breathing would get short as well. My nurse told me to get some gasX, I took it and continued to walk and it went away almost over night. Now the only pain I have is in my left side from my largest incision

thanks everyone!

hang in there. I called my dietician because it scared me i was so hungry. It will go away I promise

I would like to be on the next challenge since this one is almost over. Great idea! This challenge will run from 5-30-2016 through 7-11-16 (I didn't want to end ON the holiday). This will give us a total on 7 weigh ins. This is my first challenge as an organizer - so patience is appreciated! I am following the same logic as vsgSarah3 who has done a great job administrating up till now . I will do my best to post to the spreadsheet within 1 day of receiving your weight.
This challenge is for everyone. If you are pre op, post op, in maintenance or looking for some accountability; this challenge is for you! The rules and link to the spreadsheet are below!
Please respond to the post if you are interested and I will add your name to the spreadsheet.
Please Post Your Starting Weight (Weight on or around 5/30) and your Goal Weight (what you would like to weigh at the end of the 7 weeks) at the start of the challenge on 5/30 or before.
Rules:
1. Post your weight on this thread every Monday.
2. If you change your screen name please let me know.
3. If you miss 3 or more weigh ins, I will assume you no longer want to participate and your name will be removed from the spreadsheet.
4. If you miss a weigh in, no problem. Just post it asap.
5. We are all here to support each other, if you post a question anyone can answer.
6. You will know your weight is updated on the spreadsheet once I've liked your post!
The link to the spreadsheet is below! Have fun, and good luck with this challenge!!!

I love it!!!! You look great!

thanksI feel "social media bullies" is a bit of a stretch. But yeah, I'd really just follow your doc's plan. It doesn't hurt to ask them though. Letting them know you're feeling up to it does help them gauge healing and what not I'm sure to some degree.
But yeah, for the first few months post op, I feel it's super important to baby our sleeves just so they get the healing time they need. You can probably be a little "riskier" (for lack of a better word) when you're 3, 4, 5, 6+ months out.

praying for you and your family. This breaks my heart but this too shall pass if you want your husband fight for your marriage but don't fight alone. Put God first and pray.

chiiiile please! Do what feels good for and to you! I like your boldness hey it's probably somebody in your inbox now!I never said I was looking for a MAN or WOMAN, you know what they say about assuming....
Also, I don't need your advice about where to find dates, being single for so long, I know what avenues to work.
I never said anything about what I am looking for because, I do not know, all I am looking for now, is exactly what I posted so, please, don't be so "cavalier" with giving out advice when people have not asked for not.
You do know Tinder is notoriously known for just hookups, right...?
Also, same thing I told OKCPirate, I didn't ask for advice
------------
Comments like the ones I'm receiving always remind me why I never participate in Bariatric forums/communities. People think they're being supportive by telling you what THEY think is best for YOU, most of the time when that is not even nearly close what you've asked for.

Just deactivated all of my social media accounts with the exception of this group! I'm ready to start phase 2 of my WL journey. When I reactivate my account I'll be 50 pounds or more lighter!!!! I'm planning on having a big makeover and a full body profile pic as opposed to just headshots. Wish me luck, hold me accountable, whose ready to join my "Big Reveal Adventure"? Let's do this!!! Workouts start in the morning. Excited, no longer will food nor fat control Me!
