  1. I am 3 months post op and have started experiencing the last couple days horrible dry mouth. It's worse then anything I've experienced. It doesn't matter how much I drink, it doesn't help. Does anyone know what this could be and what I can do? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. Thank you I just spoke to my dr. He said either gastritis or an ulcer. Either way he upped my nexium dosage and will probably do an endoscopy. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I am almost 5 weeks post op and just threw up blood. I had been feeling kind of sick today like I had a cold. My throats been hurting and I've been coughing all day. I had not eaten or drank anything for at least an hour before I threw up. When I threw up it was dry heaving and then some blood came up. I still feel nauseous. Has anyone experienced the same thing or give me some insight on what it is? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. What types of pureed foods do you eat? I started today and am looking for suggestions. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App I have a nice food processor so I can puree almost anything. I've done puréed baked potato, beef brisket with a small amount of BBQ sauce (it was heaven), refried Beans, and taco meat. All were really good. It's weird with the meats because the texture is so different, but the taste is the same. I plan on trying more foods as the week goes on. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  6. I started puréed food yesterday and I can definitely tell when I'm full. Im having a very hard time getting in 2 ounces. I have to eat 1 ounce and then wait an hour to eat the 2nd ounce. With yogurt I don't have this problem though. I can easily eat 4-5 ounces no problem. It was on my full liquid diet I just finished though so it's definitely different then puréed foods. 8. So I keep hearing people mention the dreaded "3 week stall." I think I am there. I am only almost 2 weeks post-op, but I'm almost 4 weeks since I started my pre-op diet. Since my pre-op diet started and after surgery I had been consistently losing a lb a day (except when I gained weight from the iv and gas after surgery and quickly lost it plus more). The last few days I have not lost anything. Maybe I'm just being overly analytical, but it sure seems like I am slowing and stalling. My question is how long does the stall last? And does a big loss come after it? Is there anything I can do to jump start the process? Thanks for your help! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Calling all June '16 sleevers!

I had my sleeve done June 10. Yesterday was the first day that I felt like myself again. I'm just a little sore still in my abdomen, but I'm feeling pretty great other then that. I'm down over 20 lbs including my pre-op diet weight loss. For the first time in a very long time, I'm looking forward to what the future holds! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. I cannot wait to be able to walk into a non-plus-size store or section of a store and shop and actually fit into the clothes. I also cannot wait to take family photos with my son that I look comfortable and happy and healthy in. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
