How are you doing now after going home? My surgery was a day before yours. I had a lot of pain and gas. A LOT! It's been one week today and I wa our walking and shopping. But I feel hungry all the time!

Our liver got moved around some and it's sore. Also suffering with Constipation . I finally made it all happen this morning but had to use two different products. My issues now are feeling hungry and not being able to find things that satisfy me.

I am home now and they feels a little better. The pain I awful and I don't think gave me enough. Everything hurts including my back because I can only sleep on my back. I am starting to sound like all these other people I judged for being so negative. I hate that. I do have a positive outlook on life and this decision.
I guess I feel so blindsided by the pain and lack of mobility.

I am 3 days post op and still in the hospital. I will tell you that I was not at all prepared for the pain level I am suffering. It is unbearable. I am not. Baby and have a pretty high tolerance for pain but, I feel rather deceived that no one told me this was going to hurt like it does o look at the clock and count down minutes till my next pain med dose and sometimes cry .i can't help but question my decision now!

You have to do it small steps. I had to ween from Diet Coke one month than cut way back on bread the next, then walk for 10
Minutes on my lunch hour, it really is baby steps. My surgery is Monday and I am ready and so grateful I started early!i just know my post op is going to go so much better!

Although I am not sure why you have to be on something through thier office. Is your insurance paying for those products? Because they can give you a plan to follow and you get those items on your own.

I am on the same plan. And I love fresh fruit and veggies. It's all Protien but my plan does allow me like a half cup of. Non starch veggies in one meal or salad.

Late to this thread but wanted to know what you say to people who say" wow you look great, how did you lose the weight"? My plan is to say " a lot of hard work" and it is. A few people know about my upcoming surgery and as far as work I just say it's" girl stuff" . But I don't want to be dishonest. I don't even want to pretend that me and my awesome will power and determination dropped that 100 lbs! What do you all that have dropped that weight say to people?

I am always surprised to hear about other pre op diets. Mine is restrictive but not liquid at all. I can have 800 calories and 80 or more of Protien. They gave me a menu sample and lots of yogurts lean meats etc .i know I will miss caffeine the most and my glass of wine with dinner!

I am 17 days from surgery and star my pre op on Monday! I too have started me habits mostly getting off Diet Coke and increasing my Water intake., documenting and monitoring my Protein intake and staying away from bread and Potaotoes. Caffeine will be tough for me but I think I can handle the rest!

My pre-op starts on Monday so I am still debating what I wan this weekend. I might go for the childhood comfort food , chicken and dumplings! Having pizza for lunch today at work! I know that!

Yes that is my concern is getting a good routine down with my food and Water before starting the crazy world of packing lunches and planning dinner while in a meeting! I feel like it will need my indices attention !

@@dawson62704 I had surgery the same day and I too have cravings! I can't watch tv for all the cheeseburger pizza ads! I am told it gets better!
