It was hard for me as well during the 6 months. Mine was over June 16th. Now I'm just waiting on insurance. During my 6 months my Dr have me a goal of between 1800-2000 calories. No soda, minimal carbs, and if I ate them portion control. Increase Water intake. Weighed and measured most everything. Increased my exercise to 30 mins a day 5 days a week. Which is hard cause most everything hurts my legs. Not to mention I was in a boot and on bed rest for 6 wks during my 6 months. I lost 17 lbs but gained 6 back. As for emotional/boredom eating. I've found gum to be a life saver. Especially at work when I don't have time to eat. But I'll try healthier versions of what I'm craving, or I try going and doing something like a walk or swimming. What kind of birth control have you been on? Before this started when was ur last cycle? A brown cycle is normally just old blood ur body hasn't been able to shed. But the fact you are seeing some red in there should hopefully mean ur body is almost rid of the old blood and hopefully your next cycle will be normal. So everyone's body is different which means it's going to process it differently. Some ppl take forever to get pregnant(years) or it can be the next month. As for me I was on it for 8 yrs and gained 10-15 lbs for every yr I was on it. It is also one of the reasons I have hell losing weight. I've been off the shot for 2 yrs now and still not pregnant. Crystal light does have aspartame in it even the single serve packets. I was checking them today cause I'm sick of Water. But I've found since cutting out soda most flavored drinks are becoming too sweet. I did end up buying the propel single serve packets. They don't have aspartame in them. However it says to add one packet to 16.9 fl, so I added two to my 32 oz bottle and it was still way too sweet next I'm going to try with just one packet.

So my mom used the premier Protein shakes and she loves them, we only drink the chocolate. I bought some and stocked up in hopes to get a surgery date soon, I've slowly been replacing Breakfast and lunch or Snacks with them but they kinda taste like feet lol probably just me but I can only drink them on ice, and I don't always feel full after one Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using the BariatricPal App

I'm currently 5'4" and 369. At my smallest when I was super active in sports I was 162, and I believe that still puts me at being overweight. I'm OK with that because I was mostly muscle from all the training and sports I was involved in... I lifted weights with the football team ,volleyball, basketball, and I ran & threw in track. I'm right there with you, that's why I keep pushing so much for them to get stuff done, hell I even offered to drop my chart of at the surgeons office lol I'm also worried they won't approve me, it doesn't say they require any amount of weight loss prior to having it but I've only lost 11lbs. So I had to drive an hr to my Dr just to pick up several pieces of paper work they forgot to send to the surgery center. The lady told me I should hear from the surgeons office by wed to make my final appointments before they can send off for approval. So I will hope see the surgeon and the nutritionist soon. I so get it!!! My horse passed away a few yrs ago, his stomach got twisted and they couldn't fix it. But growing up I could crawl all over him, and walk under him. Wish I had pictures, his name was raven and he was a black appaloosa. Living in middle Tennessee we have tons of horse barns all over, I've been wondering if one would let me volunteer on my days off from the hospital, just to be closer to the horses. This is one of my goals too!!! I used to ride as a girl growing up on a ranch in New Mexico. Last time I rode I was 17 so well over 10 yrs. So I just found out that my paperwork still hasn't been submitted to insurance it was just barely sent to the surgery center who will then send in it to insurance. She said she got it and will call me tomorrow to go over it all. Is it just me or is it soooo hard to wait??? Have you heard anything back yet? I completely understand and agree, I wasn't thinking when I said it I was excited over my last Dr app and getting closer to the final steps before surgery. Normally I tell no one out side my small circle. My mom, my son, my spouse and 3 of my best friends. But if you had been there today you would have heard me tell her that when she wanted to talk to me after class I told her she could talk all she wanted but it wasn't going to change anything for me. Or when she proceeded to corner me when I was getting my stuff and she kept running her mouth how I told her I wasn't interested. .. but I couldn't go any where cause I was half way dressed at the time. So I chose to be polite like I was raised and bite my tongue long enough to get dressed. And as I walked out the door I made sure she watched me throw every piece of paper she gave me away.
