Things I can no longer have....
What about enteric coated meds and extended release meds? I've read somewhere that they don't stay in your system long enough to be broken down right. I'm considering RNY if that makes a difference. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

15 months post op and right shoulder pain
Gallstones may cause no signs or symptoms. If a gallstone lodges in a duct and causes a blockage, signs and symptoms may result, such as: Sudden and rapidly intensifying pain in the upper right portion of your abdomen Sudden and rapidly intensifying pain in the center of your abdomen, just below your breastbone Back pain between your shoulder blades Pain in your right shoulder Might wanna get it checked out! I had that same kind of pain when I had my gallbladder removed many years ago. My doc said it was scar tissue forming but I agree with @msjg46...contact your doctor if you're really concerned. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Conflicting info - losing/gaining weight before surgery
My insurance requires either 6 month medically supervised diet (no specified amount of loss) or 3 months with an RD. Of course I chose the 3 month option. Both options require no net gain. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
