Baked Ricotta recipe
She has a bariatric friendly website with lots of recipes. If I remember it is called the world according to eggface.I did the ricotta bake with sausage, shrooms and light Alfredo, shrimp and light Alfredo, crab, leftover turkey, taco meat, and something else that I don't recall. Have fun with it!

PB&J
If you decide to go that way you ought to consider pb2 or pb fit and sugar free jam. I'm still trying to keep my carbs in a relatively low level and this wouldn't be a choice that I would make. Are you cleared.for all foods at this point?

Eating out
Mexican food with the rice and just a small bit of tortilla, steak, chicken, I love fish!, pizza toppings, teriyaki chicken without the rice, sashimi!, chili, bacon, eggs, sausage, quiche without the crust, chicken wings... I could keep going but ultimately this is about choices.

Does anyone regret surgery
I enjoy being out with friends. My enjoyment just doesn't involve mass quantities of food now. Yes I eat but I find that I'm more involved in the conversation than I've ever been and I feel like I get so much more out of the time that I've spent. How about drinks? Beer, vodka, wine?Sent from my Pixel using the BariatricPal App I don't drink. I never have.

1st actual meal 23 days POSt Op
There is enough information in her bio to figure out that she isn't a troll. I was able to find her on farcebook and she posted recently. The only thing that I can say is that she needs help and I feel sorry for her.

1st actual meal 23 days POSt Op
I can't say if the op is a troll or not. If she isn't then I truly feel sorry for her. The horrible choices that she is making can be life threatening at her stage of the game. Hopefully the reason why she hasn't responded yet isn't because she is laying in a hospital bed somewhere.

Did you get snow?
Starting last Sunday we ended up with 16 inches total with no more than a foot on the ground at any one time. As of yesterday the temperature is in the 40's and it has been raining. My sweetie and I went exploring earlier and found lots of flooding already including several secondary roads that had over a foot of water running across in multiple places. The national weather service has already issued a flood warning expecting the river to reach 18 feet above normal levels by Wednesday night.

Body image and sex
Well I have been dating the past couple of years, five, three pre-surgery and 2 post...and the POST has been significantly better. As I lost weight, my confidence increased (and confidence is the most important thing you bring to the bedroom. I am not happy with the loose skin, but it's so much better than the alternative. It is so much more fun to see what is going on "down there" and I can do things and get to places I could not before. But I realize I'm a guy, and my sex doesn't have the same body image issues as women. That's just reality. May I suggest that you will probably be dating guys in their 40's. 90% will have experienced childbirth and the physical changes to their spouses body. Gravity wins, and only those who are porn addicts don't realize it (run, don't walk, from anyone who is ever critical...just saying). @@OKCPirateI agree that with the weight loss it has opened up more options in the bedroom. I've gained a full 2.5 inches of USABLE "confidence". If the fat around the pubic bone would go away I would actually be pretty decent! I do have to disagree with you on her being stuck with dating guys in their 40's. @@Dashofpixiedust8 is quite cutell and she has a smile that matches her personality. If I remember correctly she is 30. I could easily see her not having to "settle" (my words not yours). I believe that she will be just fine but I also understand her body issues. I truly believe that with a little bit of lingerie and her personality that she will have no problem when the time comes for sex.

@@Dub I'm getting hit on too. I'm surprised that my ring size has gone down so much. When I got married I was 12.5 "comfort fit"(slightly rounded inside) now I easily fit a regular 10.

I will admit that this thread inspired me to buy 2 pounds of big ol shrimp today (16-20 per pound) and bacon to wrap them with. Mmmmm!

So depressed. Really need help
All of the hormones trapped in your fat are dumping. They will seriously mess with us. They will change your requirements for depression meds. Go to your doctor and discuss what is going on and get the meds adjusted.
