    Fit bit? Should I?

My phone tracks steps automatically; I don't see the need for a FitBit at all. Just more status symbol tech toys. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "
  3. That I would feel so damn good all the time. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "
  4. ... or has there been an influx of the Rabid on the boards this past week? I've put more holy rollers on my ignore list this week than I have since when I joined in May through November. Here's a clue, if you have to thank your imaginary friend on every single post you make, you are NOT a well-adjusted, functioning member of society, you are a huge damn mess of mental illness. Anyone else noticing this? "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "
  5. I gained 7# on the day of surgery from the IV fluids, but I had already lost all of that and more by the time I left the hospital two days later. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "
  6. Never believe what you read on Facebook. Facebook brings out the attention wh0re in everyone. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "
  7. Pre-op was harder; the hunger drove me crazy. Post-op my stomach is like a house plant... tend to it when I have to, and then leave it the hell alone and let it do its thing. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "
  8. Today's my two week sleeve-aversery... down 20#.

  10. I didn't go for 5 days, but since then it's about every other day. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "
  11. Today I faced the demon I've been dreading... chips and salsa. I came out victorious! The in-laws came into town and we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant, ordered the pollo con queso (chicken chimichanga with jalapeño cream cheese on top) with black beans. Ate my half cup and didn't even miss the chips! Major, major win for me, mentally. I am going to rock the hell out of this sleeve!

    Chinese Food

At ELEVEN days out? Phew! Living life on the edge... I was still on full liquids. I was advanced pretty quickly too but part of that is because I was not enjoying the pureed stage so I asked if I could just chew the supreme crap out of the next stage of food and was given the ok.I wasn't "enjoying" it either, but enjoying got me to the point where I needed WLS, so... My surgeon's practice skips full liquids and mushy foods unless regular food isn't tolerated. And so far, I have tolerated everything I've eaten. I just eat a lot less than I used to, and skip carbs. Small weight gain

Try not to focus on weight fluctuations, as @@Babbs said, it changes daily. My scale said I was one pound heavier this morning than yesterday, which after an 800 calorie day with all protein and water goals met and an hour of walking is physically impossible. The variable: no bowel movement since yesterday's weigh-in. (this is why most people advise you not to weigh daily, it will drive you insane)

    Chinese Food

Ended up having garlic long beans with fried tofu, and some chicken curry with onions, carrots, and peppers.

    Chinese Food

I'm 11 days out and I'm cleared for just about everything except beef/pork and raw vegetables. (My program skips the "full liquids" and "soft food" stages) We're heading out to Chinese food right now... I haven't decided if I want green Beans and tofu, a chicken dish, some Soup, or maybe some ma po! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    LittleBill's Ring of Fire Chili

I have a very funny story about hot peppers and rubbing certain body parts, but it is not worth my life to tell it. Suffice to say, they were not my parts, and I was threatened on several levels if I ever touched peppers and those parts in that order again. Something similar to this? http://dailypicksandflicks.com/2013/10/27/snl-autumns-eve-pumpkin-spice-douche-video/
  17. Friday's lunch box was: Protein shake (half mid-morning, half mid-afternoon) 2 calcium chews (one mid-morning, one with lunch) 3 drink flavor packets (for my 24 oz. drink container) 3 oz. cubed chicken (spiced up with powdered garlic, onion, basil, paprika, pepper flakes, and pepper) 1 oz. feta cheese crumbles 1 tsp. sweet/hot mustard 1 tsp. stone ground mustard 1 tsp. chipotle mustard

4 days post op no restriction

I was pretty much the same as the This is pretty much me as well, no problems at all, don't even feel a restriction. I finally felt a restriction last night when I was distracted and took a huge gulp of Water (like I used to do...). Won't be doing that again any time soon! LOL
  19. Broke down and finally bought a scale at Bed, Bath, and Beyond Expensive last night. Sweet jeebus, as of this morning, I've lost 16# in 11 days!

      Dang! Great job :D.

  20. So I'm getting 500-700 calories a day, 10 days out of surgery. I'm following the plan to the letter: meeting my water goals, getting 80-90g of protein each day... I guess I'm just wondering why is this appearing to be so easy? WTH?
  21. Hi folks, for those of you who use MyFitnessPal, do you enter your Vitamins? I noticed this morning that my blood sugar was slightly elevated after taking my Bariatric Advantage Vitamin and Calcium chew.
  22. You can do this with MyfitnessPal? Just add them as food. They're in the database - and if you use something else that's not in the database, you can add it.
  23. Used a virgin hole in my belt today!

LMAO! Wait until you get to explore new territory with either freshly drilled holes or find yourself with a new instrument of bondage.

High... you took the words out of my mouth.... better yet... having to put a rubber band down the belt so the extra dont flap around...

  24. I guess my doctor is more progressive... I'm a week out and cleared for basically everything except raw vegetables and beef/pork/lamb. Skipped full liquids and mushy completely.
  25. Yup, thanks! I added my vitamins and calcium (and fiber gummies) and my blood sugar numbers made more sense for today.
