  1. You are so welcome!! My husband says I'm a cheap date now lol. If you have any other questions or concerns I'll do my best to help. Good luck!!
  2. Hey! I had my sleeve surgery Jan 14, 2016. It's the best decision I could've made for myself, I only wish I'd done it sooner! I'm only 5'3" and my highest weight was 262. I now fluctuate between 160 and 163. I'm working on losing 10-15 more but I feel great!! I think for me I lost alot slower than some not sure why. But, I didn't really have any of the long stalls that some have either so I think it all equaled out in the long run. You're main focus will be protein and fluids! Get used to kids sized meals, they're cheaper too lol! I remember it took me a few months to regain my energy after surgery. But once I got my protein up I was good to go. I have low iron and sometimes have low energy from that. But overall I would do it all over again. It's so worth it! I'm so excited for you! You'll do great!

    HELLO JANUARY SLEEVERS!

Yes, mine has been what I call shedding. Not coming out in hunks or anything. Just when running my hands through it with product I'll have alot of strands on my hands. I too was told that it could last up to 6 months. I just keep trying to take my vitamins like I'm supposed to. My daughter is a hair dresser and suggested cutting it a lil shorter and adding more layers. So we did and I love it! I'm also using better quality hair products and have noticed less shedding than when using the cheaper products. So I think for me the combination of working on both the inside (vitamins) and the outside (better products) has helped slow mine down quite a bit. I also agree with IrishGermanRN on trying to get the calorie count up! It's still hard sometimes though.

    HELLO JANUARY SLEEVERS!

I started orange theory workouts and I stopped plateauing. Is your b12 level ok per your doc? I was also very tired until the past 2 weeks. Keep at it and add that exercise. My doctor said that there is no better time to lose weight then the first year after our surgery. So we have to take advantage of this time period. I had bloodwork done a month ago and at that time everything was normal. I'm a member at my local gym, just have to push myself to get in there! I'm steady working on it lol Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App

    HELLO JANUARY SLEEVERS!

Hi everyone, I was sleeved Jan 14, 2016. My HW was 260, SW 251, CW 213 and GW 160. I feel like I've been losing alot slower than most but it has mostly been a consistent 1 to 2 lbs a week. I know they say not to compare but it's very hard lol. I know I need to exercise more but I've been struggling with low energy since the beginning. I push myself to atleast walk on the treadmill 30min 5days a week. Overall though I am glad that I had the surgery! It's definitely the tool I needed!
