  1. Hello all, I am 4 years post op and I totally feel your pain. Post sleeve i was 256 lbs. My lowest weight was 146lbs. I am currently 205 lbs. I have made the decision to get back on track with it all. I will start with the basics of protein shakes for 3 days, then slowly introduce other allowable foods. I do know that my sleeve is still intact because i cant eat alot at one time, but once that food digests, I am ready for more, but only out of habit, not hunger. For me it is mental because when I am bored I eat. Since having my last child I have began to fall back into old habits, but I know I can make the changes because my sleeve still works and I am ready to do this once again!!

    OMG I'm Starving!

I am 18 days post op and I felt the exact same way. It is hard to imagine that it will get better but trust me it will. Now, I get frustrated because I can't each as slow nor as much as I want so I am working on that but it is all in phases and each one gets better. Hang in there!! 8. @@OutsideMatchInside thank you and I agree. I think I will try cottage cheese and hopefully that will be better. I will wait till week 3 to before I try tuna again. What do you think about refried Beans? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. Hello everyone, this thread has been very helpful to me. I am 2 weeks post op and I am struggling just like everyone else. I just started on soft foods today. I have tried Tuna with a little mayo and hummus. The hummus went down easy but the tuna created a tightness in my chest. There are times that I regret my decision to get sleeved but it's too late now so i just hope it gets better like everyone says. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
