Things just aren't going well...after extensive research yesterday I realized I've messed up my pre-op diet by having fruit.

Why was extensive research needed? Did your surgeon give you a clear plan? Also, when is your surgery, and what are you having? Everyone messes up a little at some point! Don't beat yourself up about it. Just try again.
