They are foods that will work against you.
They are generally poor choices that don't fit your plan and you can eat them with ease.....example: pudding, ice cream, doritos, etc.

I'm disappointed in all of you. DISAPPOINTED I TELL YOU!!!

I love a man in boxer briefs.
When you aren't losing as fast you can invest in the athletic ones they have more support and cooling, but the are pricey for rapid weight loss.

I ordered my hubby a pair of the Duluth Buck Naked Boxer Briefs a few months ago, and they have rapidly become his favorite. He even works out while wearing them (and normally the man strips down, dons some spandex, and then dresses over it for working out.) He says they don't chafe and provide good support. I think you've made a good choice.
And remember, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are just a week or two away. Duluth might have a good sale so you can stock up. In various, reducing sizes, of course. Ha!

Under Armor boxer briefs would be my suggestion. My husband finds them comfortable and supportive and I think they look good. Win win!

I dont know what they are called but i think they are the same as what the ladies are talking about. The briefs that look like shorts, only they hug your legs and waist. The ones with a thicker band seem to be a better quality. Or at least the feel that way.????
Please stay away from the white ones.

Ladies feel free to comment as well!
I need some help with my underwear. BAD! I've been in briefs since I was just a little guy and I've tried boxers in my adult life for about a year and I liked the support that briefs gave me. I'm due for new smaller underwear but I have a major problem. As the fat has gone away from my junk I've needed better support to keep the twig and berries from branching out. I've especially had problems with getting into vehicles. The underroos shift over and one of my boys suddenly gets a crash course in bondage and torture. That definitely isn't my thing so a change is in order. I usually wear Hanes or fruit of the Groom. Looking at Wally World revealed that smaller loincloth equals a smaller hammock for the banana and that will only make the problem worse. Please help release me from my bonds and suggest a better fig leaf!

@ My guys (52, 22 and 19) really like boxer briefs. They're a little sexier than the standard brief (I don't know a single woman who thinks tighty whiteys look sexy) and they're not all loose and weird like boxers. They all really love the BoxerJocks that UnderArmor makes...they're pricey but they also last forever and they can wear them to work, to class and straight to the gym. They hold all their bits in place nicely, apparently.

Thanks guys! I saw my doctor a day or two after that and she said what I suspected. Not getting enough fluids in. I started drinking pedialyte mixed with some flavored water. And feeling much better now!! No more dizziness.

Lgr3 got a reaction from hats123 in Dreaming of veggies ????????????
I am more than 8 wks out and have been plagued with vegetables on the brain! Before my WLS I was a big guy and still am but my problem was inactivity never really over eating! I would rather eat a bunch of sautéed vegetables or a chicken salad with Italian dressing than anything! I liked a good steak also but would rather have grilled chicken, lol! I don't even like fries in oil, would rather have then baked. I am somewhat discouraged right now! I had my 6wk appt and told the Dr. and he assured me that it would take time but I literally dream of eating veggies of old! ????????

Lgr3 reacted to JamieLogical in Worried 90 Day past WLS and I eat more!
If you continue to eat that way... waiting for some food to digest then eating a little more, you are essentially "grazing", which is one of the ways WLS patients regain weight. You want to try to avoid that. Once you are all healed up, which you should be at 3 months out, you want to try to confine each "meal" or "snack" to about 20 minutes of eating. Then wait 30-40 minutes before drinking. Then don't eat again until your next scheduled meal or snack. At 3 months out, I was eating 5-6 meals/snacks per day. Trying to get about 10-20 grams of Protein in each time. I didn't have much room for vegetables, which is why I was diligent about taking all of my Vitamins and supplements.< /p>

I am new to this forum but had my sleeve on 4/8/16 and also regretted it at some points but like some said its no looking back now! Let me just say this, you are not alone and everyone's trials are different and the reason I say trials it's literally that! I can't eat somethings others eat right now like eggs or I get sick but we have to forge ahead! One way to hydrate is sugar free Jello and you can have sugar free pudding at some point.....We are like babies in the beginning having to relearn what to eat! Mentally we have to change our behavior to accommodate the reality of it! May this find you and give some comfort! As a father of 3 need to be around for my young ones, that's my goal!

I started at 515 and 10.5 months later I have lost 226 lbs. In 32 lbs. I will literally be "Half the Man" I used to be. @@Dashofpixiedust8 don't worry about skin, it will be what it is, nothing you can do about it, and plastics is still a LOOONG way off. I understand about your pain, but I suggest many short little walks...2 mins then 3-4 mins. The more you move the faster you will heal. It shouldn't hurt, but if it aches that needs to be ok with you. Remember, there is a new you SCREAMING to be let out. Once my incisions healed, I got in the pool for Water aerobics and Water Zumba. That was a great place for me to start an exercise regimen. I wish you the best of luck, keep us posted as to you "MELT".

I am 5'11 and started at 470 and was sleeved on 2/16/16 and weighed in at 371 last week. I had a bit of pain after surg. But I feel great now. I'm swimming, bike riding and walking more each day. Take it a day at a time.
