It was determined m port has flipped... So, scheduling a new surgery...

Had fist fill a month ago and X-ray helped find port but ended up having to lay down. Took doc two pricks and he found it. Went back yesterday and had many pricks and couldn't find port so rescheduled for tomorrow... should i I go back to standing up? Anyone else have that problem?

I had lap band with plication on April 25, so a little over three weeks out. I started feeling light headed on Monday of this week, whenever I stood up... So, I checked my blood pressure and noticed it was lower than I've ever seen it while on my bp meds, so I called my regular doctor, not surgeon, to just see if maybe my bp meds needed to be adjusted and to get a checkup post surgery with someone else... Turns out doc things I'm just dehydrated. I'd started having shortness of breathe over the weekend, while climbing my stairs and just generally weaker than I've felt. Anyway, she said it's probably dehydrated and ran some blood tests. Blood work turned up nothing except high Calcium levels. I've notified surgeon and waiting for a response, so just wondered if anyone else experienced that or similar. She did say the high calcium should not have made me feel light headed but dehydration is still main diagnosis until she speaks with surgeon...

Thank you for the info. Not quite two weeks after surgery and I'm down 31 lbs! No issues and no hunger, which is a very weird feeling that I'm getting used to.

I had surgery on 4/25 and today was my first day back. So, I took 5 days off. I did work from home todaybc my belt rubs against the port incision and another when I sit, so I'm going to work in my gym shorts this week.

I'm interested in hearing how others with lapband and plication are fairing? I had surgery on 4/25/2016, so it's only been 7 days. I feel great, no major problems or hiccups but I just feel like maybe I'm not eating enough? I don't know how to tell if I'm full or maybe it's still too early to tell? Anyway, just wanted to see how others are doing or how their journey has gone.
