  1. Hi everyone, I'm 18 days post op. Thanks Nicky6 I thought I was the only one who had similar symptoms. what I find works for me is to take my meds first, then wait a while then have one egg scrambled. I only get a few bites in, wait a while then have my fluids through out the day. for the evening I will have a few table spoons of cuppa Soup (chicken or veg), wait a while then go back to my fluids. that what I find works for me at the moment, I did have trouble in the beginning with trying to balance fluids and meals (soft foods ect). I do hope that you find what works for you luv. Xx :-)

    Sleep

Hi all, 7 days post op surgery date 3/11/16. I'm a side sleeper, had slept on the sofa when I came home from hospital and found it very difficult to get a good night's sleep. Tonight I'm going to try and sleep in my daughter's bed as my bed is too high and see how that goes. Xx

    November sleevers?

Okay, it's different in the UK. All i had yesterday was a cup of hot chicken stock for breakfast as I didn't have any milk for shakes and 2 bottles of water. Then had steam stirfry veg and 2 cod fillets when 8 got home from the hospital. How did your pre op go. Did they swab you for MRSA?

I steam stir fry veg with the fish in a veg stock. Did they say why no veg?

    November sleevers?

I'm doing both, 2 shakes and chicken fillet or fish with veg for the evening meal. It's no too bad, but when someone passes by with a pizza...... sooooo hard! :-)

    November sleevers?

Had my pre op assessment today, it was a long day appointment time was 12:35pm and I came out the hospital after 4pm. Had to wait a long time to see the pharmacist regarding my meds, they also took a swab for MRSA. I f I don't hear from them by Friday then all is well. How is everyone else doing? Xx
