I went cold turkey, no coffee during the pre surgery liquid phase, the was allowed 1 cup a day in mushy phase. I also had bad knee pain, now 3 months out they free great. The sacrifice is worth it. They didn't know, I'm one of those people who has kept my surgery a secret. I just feel it's no bodies buineess but mine. I've never been big on sweets my weakness is salty crispy things, which aren't on the radar yet. I am really surprise at how different things taste, and my lack of interest in eating. 4 weeks post surgery my co worker brings me a coffee and donut not knowing I had the surgery. Normally I would scarf down 2 or 3 of them, but just to taste I took a nibble to my surprise I just didn't like it. Even since my surgery I really don't have an interest in food anymore.
