  1. Is everyone buying this isopure at Gnc or do you have to buy it on line? Gnc was pretty expensive!! Just wondering where everyone is purchasing it......
  2. Pre op is going good!! Migraine was intense in the beginning and I guess never got better because the sinuses kicked in. I found it easier in the beginning probably because you tend to get sick of the protein shakes but hanging in there. I've lost 12lbs :-D
  3. Annette, I wasn't told no vitamins 2 weeks before just nothing after midnight the night before. I am taking something because it just got so bad :-( I tried calling my Dr's office but there office is closed on Fridays won't be back till Tuesday due to the holiday. hoping surgery will still be a go Tuesday morning.
  4. Hi Annette, I'm also having RNY on the 5th!! Very nervous I've been having major sinus issues all week hoping they chill out my Tuesday.
  5. I'm taking clareten & flonase just hasent helped :-( I'm sure it will give sooner or later. Surgery is Tuesday!
  6. Haven't tried Zyrtez! That's my next option. Going to see my pcp tomorrow. I can't inagine bring put under with this booming headache. It will be unbareable when I wake up ughhh

  9. I have a hard time with the milky shakes during my liquid diet stage. I'm going to get some of the lsopure protein drinks. A lot of people are drinking those post op. That might me easier to get down.

  17. I had the band done in 2008 and removed in 2015. Going in for gastric bypass july 5th! Yes I had to do all the pre-qualifications again. I had Havard Pilgrim then now Tufts same requirements. Sent from my SGH-T999L using the BariatricPal App

  19. I'm feeling starvation!!! Feeling good 8th day of liquid diet! I think I'm getting to the point where I just want to get it done and start the healing process. I've been suffering from a sinus infection all week :'( Hoping it runs its course before next week. Mentally its been a challenging week just think its jitters lol Thanks for asking;-)
  20. My insurance (Tufts) required 6 months of diet, 6 nutrition, 6 nurse practitioner visits. 10% of your body weight lost. Once sent in was approved in 5 days surgery date was 3 weeks later!! Good luck!! Sent from my SGH-T999L using the BariatricPal App
  21. @ I'm sure this is something that I will encounter in the future. Unfortunately, it always comes from family when you do get the ignorance :-( You do you!!!!!!! I'm in the same boat when it comes to negativity so I have also chose to tell a selective few. Unfortunately some people just don't know how to give credit where credit is do.   23. Omg!!! I'm so happy to read this! I also had a lot of issues with the band and had it removed. I'm a week away of RNY and I'm terrified! I'm worried about long-term unhealthy affects. Such as looker older, hair loss, malnutrition. Have you had any of these to the degree that you regretted going forward? Im getting cold feet Sent from my SGH-T999L using the BariatricPal App
  24. Yay!!! I'm on day 6 and I do notice the further in the less hungry I am. I till have a little bit of a headache, but I'm thinking it has nothing to do with caffeine. I've had horrendous allergies this week :'( We are almost there!!!!
