  8. I don't have any problem keeping stuff down just that one episode of cramping. Its been dine since then I really think it had something to do with the whole lack of bowel movements which are much better now.
  9. I eat 5 times a day!! If its a work day I have a Protein shake for breakfast. I do that just because I leave very early and don't have time to sit and eat and this way its an easy way to get 37g in right off the bat My two Snacks a day I try to make sure there at least 10g ex. Greek yogurt w/ 1/4 c cashews or 1/2c cottage cheese maybe some chedder cheese w/ rice cakes. Sometimes one of those snacks I have for lunch so by dinner time I'm already at about 60g which I think is great. At dinner I focus on a meat maybe fish some moist chicken etc. I rarely ever get to get the veggie in. Just to full!!! I do get very sick of the shakes so I try to have something different on the days I don't work ex. Boiled egg, oatmeal etc.....on those days I do find my protein intake a lot less so if all else fails grab a Protein Shake I do struggle with the fluids but its a work in progress Keep working on it :-) Sent from my SGH-T999L using the BariatricPal App

  13. Hi everyone, I'm in need of kind words! I'm almost 4 weeks post op and I haven't seen a loss in about a week :-( I'm feeling very discouraged :-( I'm doing very well with my Protein getting at least 70g a day in. Fluid intake has been good but could be better. I walk 3 miles at least 4 times a week. One bad thing I do is weigh myself daily which I know is not healthy so I'm working on that. Is anyone else feel they are doing well and they just aren't seeing results? :-D Sent from my SGH-T999L using the BariatricPal App
  14. I had my band put in 8 years ago. Three weeks ago had gastric bypass. My band had prolapsed last year and had to be removed immediately. I had success with the band lost 65lbs but do agree it was the hardest process ever. Also agree I could of done it without the band. I constantly had food stuck no matter what I ate with the exception of junk food. All my weight came back and then some. I choose gastric because I'm in it to win it this time around!!! In my mind I decided I was going all in and didn't want any excuses. Although the sleeve does have great results mentally I needed more:-D Which ever one you choose if your ready you will have great success Good Luck! !!!!! Congratulations to all of us who have made that leap! Its a big one!! Sent from my SGH-T999L using the BariatricPal App
  17. My first day I switched I ended up in the ER :-( Not sure if it was the transition or just bad timing. I ended up waking up that night with severe stabbing abdomen pain with vomiting. Test showed nothing was wrong probably because of no bowel movements in a few weeks. Been 5days since then and feeling so much better and did have one movement. Just take it very slow Sent from my SGH-T999L using the BariatricPal App
