@ameada, I do worry about looking old after the weightloss :-( I look a lot younger then Iam and I would like that to stay that way I'v been through the struggles of the lapband and the removal of the lapband so at this point I have the mind set that if I'm going to do this again I'm going all in. I have about 130lbs to lose and I'm worried with the sleeve its just not the right tool for me.. As far as the malnutrition I'm hoping with making the right food choices as far as your proteins are concerned, proper vitamins and becoming much more active I will be able to keep my youth for a bit. It sure is a scary thing to make a commitment to Good Luck, I'm sure we will both do fabulous!!!!!

@@anniebanana I get 1cup of cooked vegetables or vegetable soup and 2 fruits 4 to 5 protein shakes which is only 6ozs. Can't forget snack...sugee free pop or jello!!! If only we could do this forever we wouldn't need surgery lol I have to say tonight I'm feeling hungry :'(

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing drastic weight loss during the liquid diet? Obviously, I knew there would be weight loss but unless my scale is playing tricks on me I'm done 10lbs in 3 days. To me that doesn't seem normal I'm sure a lot is Water weight, but I guess I'm just curious if anyone is seeing this. My scale is pretty accurate. I compare it to the nutritionist every time......

I did do decaf one day but Im fenning the caffeine. Its getting better! Thanks for idea :-)

@@saphfyre14, My first two days I had a bad migraine, but it does ease up. Hang in there!! I still have that buzzing feeling in my head hoping the 4th day is the charm. When are you having surgery? Which surgery are you having? I recently moved back from florida about a year and a 1/2 ago

Day 3 seems to be better :-) Migraine has eased up to the point where its just about gone:-) Getting a little blaaaa about the Protein shakes, but will keep drinking them considering how important the protein is :-) Honestly I thought I would be hungary more then I am, so that's a good thing :-) 12 more days to go!!!!

I don't take migraine meds. I don't usually get migraines. I usually take Aleve, but that's not good to take prior or after surgery. Hoping tomorrow is a good day Sent from my SGH-T999L using the BariatricPal App

@@LACRACRA2 its differently not easy..I'm hearibg after the 3rd day it gets better. That's what I'm looking forward to! Good Luck! ! Hang in there this will all be worth it :-D

I started it yesterday. Yesterday was bad!! Today a little better, but I do have to confess I'm thinking about doing a 1/2 caff coffee just to get the headache to pass. Not sure what to do...

It's the worst!!! I hope it gets better. My poor children are going to pay for this I didn't even think to cut it out prior. The cutting back on everything was plenty to handle lol. Good Luck! Where are you from?

I had the band done in 08 and recently 10 months ago I had it emergency removed due to prolapse. I did have success in the very beginning, losing about 70lbs. I do have to admit it was not easy!! I was working out twice a day and watching every little calorie. I had 5 to 6 fills and became very sick do to restriction and had it emptied. After that it all went down hill as far as weight gain Today I weigh only 10lbs less then the day I had the band put in. I'm two weeks from my Gastric bypass surgery!!! I'm praying all goes well! Does anyone have any advise on how to make this liquid diet go any smoother?!?!

Today started my liqued diet & I'm hoping to god it gets easier...I'm sure ill get on some kind of routine. Had my pre-op today! This has been quite a rollercoaster ride and its almost the big day!!
