  1. I don't. ???? Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App
  2. OK so I was denied a lap band to sleeve revision by BCBS MN due to no issues (slip, erosion, etc) with my lap band. ???? Have had the lap band for 9 years, did OK at first, then a lot of obstruction issues. Surgeon consultation, EGD, NUT, psych evaluation all completed. My hubby is joining Navy and we will be switching to Tricare in December. What are my chances on getting approved thru them? Will I have to start process all over? #tryingtostaypositive Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

  10. Wow, I think we have the same husband! ???? I had my initial consultation with the surgeon (lap band to sleeve revision) to get as much info as I could to present idea to my hubby. I was scared, didn't think he would support it, but he was so absolutely supportive! His main concern is complications, but I gave him some info also and he is 100% on board. Really makes this decision a lot easier when the support system is there. Way to go!! ???????????? Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

  14. I just had my initial appointment with the surgeon, hoping for band to sleeve surgery. Doing endoscopy, psych evaluation, nutrionist, etc and hoping to submit all to insurance for approval by end of August. Any suggestions on my current diet? Before I have to do a liquid pre-op diet? What habits can I try to change now so it won't be so difficult later? Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

  17. I did have issues with my band for the first 3 years. It was drained completely and then I never went back to refill it. I had obstruction issues, vomiting, and what I believe is lap band failure. I think my first step might be a barium x-ray to check band position? I have met with my doctor and she is checking into the insurance coverage for me. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App
  18. Hi everyone! I got banded in 2007 and am looking into revision to sleeve. I had to do all the pre-qualification stuff for insurance coverage before my band. For those of you who got covered by insurance to do revision, did you have to do all the pre-qual stuff again? I have BCBS.
