  1. lol isn't that the truth. thanks for this.
  2. lol that will be interesting.
  3. The sleeve is less likely to stretch but there are still cases where doctor's have put bands on sleeved people too. If they wern't losing or it happened to stretch. They even put bands on DS people who fail. So I agree...why not just do LB first...unless you failed with LB...
  4. I've only lost 23 lbs so far and I am down a half size. Started at 10s now I can wear 9 1/2 not a big difference so I only bought a few pair of sandals that were cheap. I hope they continue to shrink, especially after I get banded!
  5. -coughs- That's all I have to say:smile:
  6. I'm staying on plan today because... I don't want to gain back what I've lost!!!
  7. I was told not to touch diet pills or my surgeon wouldnt do my surgery...
  8. k so i wasnt all stupid thinking it was just me
  9. They ARE seriously fucked up in the head. Pardon my french but that's the only way to explain them.

  11. It works for me now...was it not working before and you fixed it?
  12. Only reason I don't like the DSers on OH and I talk about them is because they were assholes to me said I would never lose weight would always be fat until I came crying to them begging for the DS
  13. I clicked on it like 20 times it doesn't do anything
  14. Mac what is that blinkie thing..does it do something. o.O
  15. I'm the opposite. As my surgery comes closer I am more and more determined and feel that I have nothing to worry about and that it's REALLY going to happen. When I was farther away and having to fight with my insurance about things I never felt like surgery was ever going to happen. Then on the 8th this month they started talking about preop with me and said I will be starting it sometime in October. And surgery in November I am bound and determined to let nothing get in the way of this changing my life.
  16. back  I love my lapband friends.
  17. To be truthful I am not worried. I have learned so much from this site about eating around the band and problems that may happen that I know what to do if I start to have problems and how to fix them. Also I will always keep in contact with my doctor. I have never once second-guessed my choice to get the band.
  18. Yes Jaime is damn good proof. Look at her weight!!! She was banded at the END of feb and is down almost 100 lbs!! She is doing sooo good! I love her
  19. just because you're MO doesnt mean you won't lose with the band...I am Super obese the highest there is and my doc thinks im going to do fantastic. No worries SNT. I was just saying that the DSers think their surgery is the only one that works. And how it pisses me off. People here are proof the lapband works.
  20. More poop issues... Classic Posts--Dealing with Bowel Issues
  21. I just saw a post on the DS forum about how a guy lost 200 lbs in 2 years...well shit people can do that with the band too so why is DS better? =/
  22. New DS Forum this is why we shouldnt have other forums now.
  23. I don't mean that to be mean to others but I think in the long run with how mean the DSers are...we might be better off with just a revisions forum than the one for all surgeries...this is lapbandtalk =/
